Pelosi downplays peace deals between the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Israel
Townhall shows the petty antics of Nancy Pelosi in regard to the peace treaties negotiated under President Trump between the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Israel.
President Trump took part in a historic Israel-Arab peace deal signing at the White House on Tuesday that will normalize relations between the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Israel. It’s the first such agreement between Israel and a major Arab country since 1994.
“These agreements will serve as the foundation for a comprehensive peace across the entire region,” Trump said ahead of the signing ceremony of the Abraham Accords.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the agreement “heralds a new dawn of peace.” He shared how “grateful” he was to President Trump for his “decisive leadership.” UAE foreign minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed agreed that the Abraham Accords “would not have been possible” without his lead.

Most everyone celebrated the moment as a key step toward peace in the Middle East. Everyone except House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who recently called the agreement a “distraction” from the coronavirus pandemic.
“Good for him for having a distraction on a day when the numbers of people who are affected and the numbers of people who are dying from this virus only increases,” Pelosi sarcastically said.

Wrong on two counts, Nancy
The (CDC reported that cases had dropped nation-wide). Also, Reuters reported a drop during late August.
However, you know that none of these numbers mean anything because they are a compilation of reports from numerous sources (not a snapshot of the nation’s health at one moment, but a collection of reports gathered from counties and cities over months).
On the other hand, these two peace treaties are significant. In fact, unlike the actions of the Democrat administration that put more money into the world’s largest state sponsor of terrorism, this treaty will likely result in peace. In contrast to the pallets of cash sent by the Democrat Obama/Biden administration gave rockets to Hamas and provided aid to General Qasem Soleimani, this treaty between the UAE, Bahrain, and Israel might eventually force the politicians of Palestine to the negotiating table. Instead of providing rockets (as Obama, Iran, and Hamas did for the PLO), President Trump’s action might result in peace.

Democrat Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg indicts officer for defending himself after the prisoner resisted arrest and tased him
Houston NBC affiliate KPRC reports that Democrat District Attorney Kim Ogg has indicted former Baytown police officer Juan Delacruz.
A Baytown police officer was indicted Monday in connection with the fatal shooting of Pamela Turner last year.
A Harris County grand jury indicted Officer Juan Delacruz on a charge of first-degree aggravated assault by a public servant in the May 13, 2019, shooting.
According to investigators, Delacruz encountered Turner, 44, while on patrol and knew that she had warrants out for her arrest. Turner resisted arrest and was able to get hold of Delacruz’s Taser and shock him with it, investigators said. Investigators said that was when Delacruz fired, killing Turner.
Turner’s family said she suffered from mental illness.
Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg said the shooting was investigated by not only her office’s civil rights division but also by the Texas Rangers.
“Ultimately, we presented all of the evidence to a grand jury that determined the Baytown Police officer should be charged with a crime for his actions when he shot Ms. Turner,” Ogg said in a written statement. “We respect their decision and we will be moving forward with prosecution.”
Ogg said Delacruz is being given the opportunity to turn himself in to authorities for arraignment.
Nationally renowned attorney Ben Crump, who represents the families of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery and more, is also representing Turner’s family.

I say we put 20 tasers in a mental hospital and then lock Kim Ogg in there
Since she considers tasers not to be a factor and does not see a mentally-ill person as a threat, let us put Kim Ogg into a room in a mental hospital along with 30 or so schizophrenic patients and 20 tasers. Lock the doors for 48 hours (since most of us can afford to go on a short fast). Let’s see how things go.
By the way, I owe a hat tip to Police Mag and The Chris Salcedo Show, both of which broke this story while I had started commenting on the hopefully-soon-to-be-defeated Kim Ogg’s most recent misdeed (beyond the 61 killed by her released felons).
On that note, I wonder whether Officer Juan Delacruz will be released on a PR bond as soon as he comes in.

The Turner event was clearly in self-defense. See, this is what happens when brainless politicians stack the grand jury through racial quotas and people with low IQ’s … and why no legal mind gives credence to grand jury indictments. There is a saying that it is possible to indict a ham sandwich. When voters finally wake up to the full impact of voting for the wrong people, which I estimate will be somewhere around the twelfth of never, then perhaps our society will regain some semblance of normalcy. Maybe.

Like I say, we should put Ms. Ogg in a mental institution with 30 or so schizophrenic patients and 20 tasers. She seems to think neither are a threat. Just leave her in there for 48 hours.
