Traumatizing Victims Again

Yazidi Victims of ISIS are Re-Traumatized

A 17 May 2016 article by Dale Hurd of CBN documented the doubled plight of Yezidi refugees: formerly victimized by ISIS and now crowded by similar elements flocking in with Muslim refugees to Germany. Following are some of the tales of despair experienced before fleeing from Iraq to Germany:

A Teenager Forced into Violence Against His Own

The first Yezidi introduced in the story is Ayas, a teenager who was forcibly converted from the Yezidi faith to Islam and required to perform unspeakable acts to his own:

“There were big ovens made of mud, as is the tradition in our country. The ovens are made for baking bread but big enough to hold a person. ISIS forced me and the other young men to push and throw elderly people and whoever talked about the Yezidi religion into the ovens and they burned them.

One of my friends was forced to put one of the old people in the oven and heard his voice and knew it was his own grandfather. …”

A Rape Victim Tells of Her Horror

Aide, a young mother, was taken from her husband and forced into sex slavery. In addition to describing the unspeakable acts she saw performed on young girls, she shared why and how she and her compatriots avoided attacks:

“We were like a flock of sheep without a shepherd. … One day the guards grabbed a 9-year-old girl and took her to the second floor into the bathroom and he raped her while she was screaming and crying and we could hear it all, but what could we do?

We did not wash and we pretended to be insane so that ISIS would not rape us because, otherwise, they simply took us to do so as they liked.”

Invited by Merkel, Salifist Muslims Flock to Germany and Traumatize Victims

Among the Muslim refugees allowed into Germany by Angela Merkel are some that closely resemble the aggressors within ISIS.  Aide says:

“When I see someone with a beard, even if he is not from ISIS, I get paralyzed. I cannot walk, not scream or anything. I cannot even look at him.”

In light of the ISIS promise to infiltrate both Europe and the United States among the Syrian refugees, is there any doubt that these victims might be our canaries in the mine?

A German Nun Speaks out for Her Yezidi Charges

Sister Hatune, who has ministered to the less fortunate within the Middle East for over 27 years, echoed the sentiments of these Yezidis:

“Many of them, they cannot sleep. Everything comes back to them in the night. Even here in Germany, when they see people who are covered, if they see people with a beard, they have the mustache, that means they’re ISIS, Salafist, and they’re afraid. …

I feel with them, you know. They’re like sisters. What has happened to them has happened to me. I hear thousands and thousands like these stories. Not one, two, three or for. One girl told me that in just the first two months, she was raped 280 times.

Islam is a religion of persecution. Don’t open the door to let in the killer. You know who are the killer. Why you let them in your country to kill tomorrow your children?”

Opening Women’s Private Spaces to Men Re-Opens Wounds of Rape Victims

The Daily Signal reported in a 25 January 2016 article on how opening women’s bathrooms and locker rooms has changed the lives of sexual assault victims.  Specifically, that article communicated how — through the efforts of Kaeley Triller Haver, Gretchen Flores, and Janine Simon — Washington state politicians should be well-educated on how the transgender bathroom policy “leaves them and their young children vulnerable, exposed and unsafe.”  Through the stories of these women, the ways that LGBT and other liberal activists are exposing rape victims to renewed trauma comes to center stage.

No Tolerance for a Victim Who Will Not Produce Trans Bathroom Talking Points

As the victim of an extended series of rapes that she was groomed for at 8 and experienced at 9, Kaeley Triller Haver did not feel comfortable when her employer (the YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties) told her to justify their stance on the transgender issue.  Specifically, they acted as follows:

” ‘In April 2015, the YMCA created a policy to demonstrate our commitment to our transgender community,’ the organization said in a statement. ‘As a community-based non-profit organization, we are committed to reflecting the diverse communities we serve. We also have a foundational commitment to child abuse prevention.’

At the time, Triller Haver was working as the organization’s communications director. When she heard the plans to go this route, Triller Haver said she was asked to ‘draft some talking points.’

‘As a survivor of sexual assault,’ Triller Haver said she told her bosses, ‘I can’t do this.’

‘They gave me two choices,’ she said. ‘I could resign and receive severance for 10 weeks if I kept quiet or I could quit.’

‘Guess what I picked.’

As more members found out about the policy, a storm of backlash ensued. According to the Seattle Times, 300 households canceled their memberships.”

No Consideration of One Victimized at the YMCA

Because the abuse of Gretchen Flores occurred at a YMCA, the adoption of the men-in-women’s-facilities policy came as a shock.

“For Flores, who said she was abused inside a locker room when her mom would drop her off for swimming classes, the policies are particularly traumatizing.

‘Ever since the Y did this, I’ve been waking up sometimes with cramps in my legs and that feeling of terror again,’ she said. ‘If you were a woman assaulted by a man, it feels extremely unsafe.’ “

Labelled by the Human Rights Campaign and the YMCA as “Fearmongers”

Please read the rest of the balance of the Daily Signal article to see how these and other women were marginalized for the sake of liberalism.
