Surprises from Joe Biden

Biden lies by shifting illegal alien children from facilities to oilfield “man camps”

The pictures of empty processing centers were a lie

El Paso Matters informs us that the Biden administration has taken over oilfield “man camps” to house illegal alien minors.

Maria Baeza Valeriano opened her front door to the view of a closed-down hotel and an oil workers’ camp, where migrant boys played soccer behind a shaded chain-link fence.

“I feel so bad for them, for being all alone,” said Baeza Valeriano, who, in her 80s, is a mother of five, grandmother of 19 and great-grandmother of eight. “It’s a lot, that the parents let their children go. I wouldn’t let go of my children for anything.”

Faced with thousands of children arriving at the Southwest border without a parent or guardian, the Biden administration has rushed to find places to house them. The Department of Health and Human Services this week had more than 21,000 children in its care — a record.

The number of children arriving alone at the border has outstripped the ability of HHS’ state-licensed shelters to house them, and the agency has resorted to pricier, less regulated temporary sites in Texas and elsewhere to pull the kids out of Border Patrol custody, where advocates say conditions are overcrowded and far from ideal.

The Biden administration has popped up more than 16,000 temporary beds in “influx” and “emergency intake” shelters in the four weeks through April 14: at military installations, including at Fort Bliss and Lackland in San Antonio; at convention centers in Dallas, San Antonio and San Diego; at a warehouse in Houston, and at the so-called man camp in the town of Pecos, population 10,641.

“There has never been a time when so many facilities and beds were added for unaccompanied children in such a short period of time,” said Mark Greenberg, a senior fellow with the nonpartisan Migration Policy Institute and former administrator in HHS’ Administration for Children and Families.

“But this has been driven by the urgency of the situation and the severity of overcrowding at Customs and Border Protection,” he said.

On a recent Friday, dozens of boys could be seen tossing an American football with caregivers, playing soccer or shooting hoops between the mobile home-style dormitories, sectioned into rooms. A mural painted on one wall inside the complex said “welcome” in English, Spanish, indigenous Quechua and Haitian Creole.

If all 2,000 beds in Target Lodge are occupied, a fifth of the people living in the town ― isolated from everything and everyone outside the camp’s fences ― will be migrant children ages 13 to 17.

A boom in children, ’emergency shelters’

U.S. Border Patrol apprehended more than 5,600 unaccompanied children in January. The number grew to more than 9,200 in February, then swelled again to more than 18,600 children in March ― a record for apprehensions of unaccompanied children in a single month.

Even Democrat Henry Cuellar is calling out Biden’s lie on the migrant facility

Fox News reports that Democrat Henry Cuellar informs us that Biden just moved the illegal alien children.

CuellarTexas Democrat who has been critical of Biden administration policies at the U.S.-Mexico border lashed out this week, accusing the administration of posting misleading photos from a migrant processing facility.

Echoing a report by Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo exposing the facility during a helicopter tour alongside Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, U.S. Rep. Henry Cuellar accused the Department of Homeland Security of trying to create the impression the Donna, Texas, site was emptying out, when in fact the migrant youths who had been located there were simply moved to a nearby location.

“All they’re doing is, they’re moving kids from one tent to the other tent and saying, ‘Oh, they’re not in the Border Patrol (custody),’” Cuellar said, according to Border Report.

The youths were relocated to nearby tents operated by the Department of Health and Human Services, the congressman told the outlet.

“But they’re right next door,” Cuellar added about the migrants. “They’re just next door in HHS.”

Following an inquiry from Border Report, DHS officials confirmed the youths were in HHS custody but would not disclose the location, the outlet reported.

The images released by the Biden administration on Tuesday showed a nearly empty Donna facility, with just a few beds and a few youths – in contrast to March images that showed a large number of migrant youths packed into the same location.

Lies created by Biden’s deceptive shuffling of kids is almost as bad as the lie of the silent liberal press

Need I say more? Biden did nothing but move the rooms of kids packed ten times beyond capacity just a little ways away. He is still holding them well beyond the 72-hour limit.

If this had been Trump, the silent press would be screaming and calling these concentration camps.

Instead, Joe Biden gets the most positive coverage of any president covered by the press in the last 30 years.

What really puts the icing on the cake is that Biden is housing kids in oilfield camps that he emptied of workers

Just before Biden’s administration, these camps were full of workers that spent their time getting oil out of the ground. Now, due to Biden’s policy, they are out of work and the price of gasoline and everything else that depends on oil is through the roof.

Additionally, putting common people out of work is just the beginning for the Biden administration.

With Biden printing money to house and feed illegals, money seems to be worth less

Remember last year, when gasoline was $1.54/gallon? Now, it’s $2.59 or more at some stations. Eggs have gone from 85 cents per dozen to $1.23 per dozen for the cheapest eggs. Although some sources want to blame the pandemic or stockpiling behaviors of some individuals for the spike in food prices, I cannot buy those explanations. What I do believe is that the government has spent too much time printing money and too little effort putting value behind the dollar through their policies (you know, policies that would allow us to work and build value in the dollar with our products).

So now we get faced with the fact that the government does not count fuel or food prices in its inflation index. Too bad for the common folk. Joe Biden with his connections to Ukraine and China is too well insulated to care about that.

Biden wants to re-import the deported illegal alien felons and give them amnesty and reparations

Breitbart reports that the Biden administration wants to import the felons who were deported and give them amnesty and reparations.

GUATEMALA-US-MIGRATION-DEPORTATIONPresident Joe Biden’s administration is weighing a plan to provide amnesty, as well as reparations, to more than 1,000 illegal aliens who were deported under former President Trump.

The Biden administration is currently negotiating a settlement by which attorneys with the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) are representing deported illegal alien parents and their children who remain in the United States.

The parents were prosecuted for crossing the U.S.-Mexico border and subsequently deported as the children they arrived with were put in Health and Human Services (HHS) custody. The policy under Trump was known as “Zero Tolerance,” though the federal government has been separating adults from children at the border since before 2001.

As part of the settlement, the ACLU is looking to secure amnesty to bring deported illegal alien parents back to the U.S. to be with their children who were left in Health and Human Services (HHS) custody, along with compensation and taxpayer-funded social services.

NBC News reports:

“The ACLU is in settlement negotiations with the Biden administration to provide full relief to the thousands of separated families, not just reunification in the U.S. but permanent status, compensation and social services,” Gelernt told NBC News. [Emphasis added]

Advocates for the families are seeking to have them reunited inside the U.S., provided with compensation and social services, and granted permanent legal status to remain in the U.S. [Emphasis added]

A Department of Homeland Security (DHS) spokesperson told NBC News that the administration is

…actively working to develop a system for processing and reunifying over a thousand families and to set up a system to provide mental health support and stability to thousands more families who are here in the United States and still trying to heal from the trauma caused by their separation.

“We are committed to working with the private sector and with the NGOs, attorneys, and advocates who have done tremendous work in support of these families,” the DHS spokesperson said.

So, as a legal citizen of America, you are being forced to sell your house to pay your debts? Joe Biden wants to raise the real estate tax.

Farms, other small businesses, and stakeholders in high-cost havens like California and New York, look out. The Biden administration wants to raise real estate taxes on transactions over $500,000.

As a follow-up to his $2.3 trillion infrastructure package, President Joe Biden has rolled out a $1.8 trillion plan to address other priorities including education and child care.

To pay for the plan, the White House has proposed increasing taxes on wealthy Americans, describing its tax reform package as one that “rewards work — not wealth.”

“The President’s tax agenda will not only reverse the biggest 2017 tax law giveaways, but reform the tax code so that the wealthy have to play by the same rules as everyone else,” the White House said in a fact sheet describing the American Families Plan. “Importantly, these reforms will also rein in the ways that the tax code widens racial disparities in income and wealth.”

The focus on wealthier Americans means that most households will not be directly affected by the proposed changes.

“Some have speculated that this will hit middle-class home sellers who sell a home in an expensive market and have more than $1 million of capital gains from real estate, but this is very rare,” said Taylor Marr, senior economist at real-estate brokerage Redfin RDFN, 6.18%. “Even in markets where home prices are over $1 million, most of that is still serviced by debt, not all equity.”

Nevertheless, some of the proposed changes to the tax code could have an impact on real estate.

It does not take a genius or even a Finance degree to see this will screw with banks

This policy will hurt banks, small businesses that are on the move, farms, and the economy.
