One interesting thing is the Texas poll results

I find it interesting that Texas did not poll Biden under 30% (as did a number of other conservative states).

Although I don’t doubt the results of the poll, I wonder if the following might have affected the outcomes:

  • I have heard reports on the radio suggesting that Texas households make more use of caller id than households in other states. I know that I use caller id to avoid unknown and unwanted calls. If this is the case, Texans might avoid calls from pollsters. However, I cannot prove the state-wide use of caller id.
  • I suspect that, with Bidenflation, more people are taking multiple jobs. Therefore, people may not be available for polling.

The Biden vaccine rule for health workers gets blocked in 10 states

The Times Union reports some good news for healthcare workers across 10 states and bad news for Dementia Joe.

A federal judge on Monday blocked President Joe Biden’s administration from enforcing a coronavirus vaccine mandate on thousands of health care workers in 10 states that had brought the first legal challenge against the requirement.

The court order said that the federal Centers for Medicare & Medicaid had no clear authority from Congress to enact the vaccine mandate for providers participating in the two government health care programs for the elderly, disabled and poor.

The preliminary injunction by St. Louis-based U.S. District Judge Matthew Schelp applies to a coalition of suing states that includes Alaska, Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wyoming. All those states have either a Republican attorney general or governor. Similar lawsuits also are pending in other states.

The federal rule requires COVID-19 vaccinations for more than 17 million workers nationwide in about 76,000 health care facilities and home health care providers that get funding from the government health programs. Workers are to receive their first dose by Dec. 6 and their second shot by Jan. 4.

The court order against the health care vaccine mandate comes after Biden’s administration suffered a similar setback for a broader policy. A federal court previously placed a hold on a separate rule requiring businesses with more than 100 employees to ensure their workers get vaccinated or else wear masks and get tested weekly for the coronavirus.

This doesn’t come as a total surprise

Even Dementia Joe expected these overreaches to be brought in — he just didn’t know how long the courts would allow him to get away with his lawlessness and how well the press could cover for him. Just as he knew his lawless eviction ban would be overturned (several times), he knew that the vaccine mandate always stood on shaky ground.

Federal judge blocks Biden vaccine mandate in three states

According to a 30 November 2021 article in the Daily Wire, U.S. District Judge Gregory F. Van Tatenhove ruled against Biden’s vaccination mandate for federal contractors and subcontractors in Kentucky, Ohio, and Tennessee.

A federal judge in Kentucky issued a preliminary injunction on Tuesday against Democrat President Joe Biden’s coronavirus vaccine mandate for federal contractors and subcontractors in three states.

The Lexington Herald Leader reported:

U.S. District Judge Gregory F. Van Tatenhove, who serves the Eastern District of Kentucky, issued the opinion and order Tuesday afternoon. It came in response to a challenge from Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron, who joined many other state attorneys general in challenging the mandate.

“This is not a case about whether vaccines are effective. They are,” Van Tatenhove wrote. “Nor is this a case about whether the government, at some level, and in some circumstances, can require citizens to obtain vaccines. It can.”

He said the case was about whether Biden could impose vaccines on the employees of government contractors.

“The question presented here is narrow,” he said. “Can the president use congressionally delegated authority to manage the federal procurement of goods and services to impose vaccines on the employees of federal contractors and subcontractors? In all likelihood, the answer to that question is no.”

“Once again, the Court is asked to wrestle with important constitutional values implicated in the midst of a pandemic that lingers,” he said. “These questions will not be finally resolved in the shadows. Instead, the consideration will continue with the benefit of full briefing and appellate review. But right now, the enforcement of the contract provisions in this case must be paused.”

The order blocks the Biden administration from enforcing the vaccine mandate for federal contractors and subcontractors in all covered contracts in Kentucky, Ohio, and Tennessee.

Biden politicized COVID. Now he cannot live up to his own standard

Biden’s COVID Death Milestone

The Wall Street Journal helped Joe Biden celebrate another dark milestone in a 25 November 2021 article: between inauguration and the last full week of November 2021 — Biden surpassed the COVID deaths in 2020 with over 350,000.

BidenYellsPresident Biden may not recall what he said during a 2020 campaign debate last fall, but Americans should: “Anyone who is responsible for that many deaths should not remain as President of the United States of America.” At the time the U.S. had recorded 220,000 Covid deaths.

Covid deaths this year have now surpassed the toll in 2020 with 350,000 since Inauguration Day. It would seem that Mr. Biden has done no better than Donald Trump in defeating Covid despite the benefit of vaccines, better therapies, and more clinical experience. The left politicized Covid by holding Mr. Trump responsible for a disease that was always going to be hard to defeat.

In August, Biden had met Trump’s record for all of 2020

Where will Dementia Joe’s leadership have gotten us to by the end of December?

Maybe the New York Times can tell us what Dementia Joe’s leadership will net America in one of their back-page, last-section articles.

If Biden doesn’t control the border, what difference does travel ban make?

Even Biden’s DOJ admits we have a ‘modern-day slavery’ scheme run to Georgia farms

Breitbart pointed out in a 26 November 2021 article how illegal aliens are enslaved to work on farms at below-subsistence wages in Biden’s America.

ModernDaySlaveryThe Department of Justice (DOJ) released a 54-count indictment that charges 24 individuals, many illegal aliens, with operating a “modern-day slavery” scheme that utilized the H-2A visa program to traffic foreign workers into United States farm jobs — raping, kidnapping, and threatening them in the process.

The indictment accuses the Patricio transnational criminal organization (TCO) — named after its matriarch, 70-year-old Maria Leticia Patricio — of operating a massive forced labor trafficking scheme since 2015 that used the H-2A visa program to traffic foreign workers from Mexico, Guatemala, and Honduras into farms jobs in Georgia.

Prosecutors called the scheme “modern-day slavery,” alleging that 24 members of the Patricio TCO engaged in mail fraud, international forced labor trafficking, and money laundering, among other crimes, across Georgia, Florida, and Texas.

According to the indictment, the Patricio TCO raked in more than $200 million from the forced labor trafficking scheme. As part of the scheme, the group sought to traffic more than 71,000 foreign workers to the U.S. using the H-2A visa program.

The H-2A visa program allows farms to bring an unlimited number of foreign workers to the U.S. every year to take American agricultural jobs. As Breitbart News has chronicled for years, the program is often used to replace Americans and preserve the low cost of farm labor.

The Patricio TCO, the indictment alleges, would secure H-2A visas for foreign workers, demand they pay them unlawful fees by keeping their immigration paperwork from them, require them to work in harsh conditions for little-to-no pay, make them reside in brutal living conditions, and would threaten them with deportation if they disobeyed orders.

In some cases, the indictment states, the trafficked foreign workers were required to dig onions in Georgia farms with their bare hands, were paid only 20 cents for each bucket harvested, all while being threatened with violence.

Blame the “Big Guy” running the big game at the top. Don’t blame the small-time criminal at the farm in Georgia.

If Biden’s apparent COVID czar cannot tell whether this newest variant has crossed into the US, what good will a shutdown do?

Dr. Fauci says he “would not be surprised” if the omicron variant is in the United States

Newsmax quotes the apparent COVID czar of the Biden regime when it comes to the variant discovered in South Africa and first reported on the day after Thanksgiving.

It would be no surprise if the highly transmissible omicron variant of coronavirus is already in the United States, even though health experts haven’t detected it yet, Dr. Anthony Fauci said Saturday morning.

“I would not be surprised if it is,” Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and the chief medical adviser for the White House, told NBC’s “Today.”  “We have not detected it yet, but when you have a virus that is showing this degree of transmissibility and you’re having travel-related cases they’ve noted in other places already when you have a virus like this, it almost invariably is going to go all over.”

The Centers for Disease Control, in a statement issued Friday, said the agency is following the details of the new variant, which was first reported to the World Health Organization by South Africa, and while “no cases of this variant have been identified in the United States,” but still “we expect omicron to be identified quickly if it emerges.”

Meanwhile, the United States is restricting entry to travelers from eight countries in southern Africa over concerns about the variant, first found in South Africa, President Joe Biden said Friday.

The restrictions will be effective Monday and apply to South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Lesotho, Eswatini, Mozambique,  and Malawi.

The travel restrictions were ordered to “give us time to assess it better,” said Fauci.

(Read more on the regime’s uncertainty at Newsmax)

So if Biden’s man on COVID can’t tell us if we have Omicron in America, maybe this is the setup for another flip

Fauci has flipped on every topic so far. Why not this one, too?

Never mind that this tweet by liberal CNBC ignores some of the flips Fauci did during the Trump administration (e.g., “don’t mask,” “wear a mask,” etc.). Nonetheless, the point is that everyone sees that Fauci flips.

What is the difference between the Biden South Africa travel ban and Trump’s travel ban?

Biden’s South Africa travel ban compared to Trump COVID restrictions he denounced

The Washington Examiner compares the Biden travel ban to the Trump travel ban (which Biden denounced).

BidenYellsPresident Joe Biden’s decision to impose additional air travel restrictions on South Africa and seven other countries in response to a new COVID-19 strain is being contrasted with his response to similar policies under former President Donald Trump.

Biden issued a proclamation Friday night saying Washington would “suspend and restrict the entry into the United States, as immigrants and nonimmigrants, of noncitizens” from the eight African nations effective Monday, though he mentioned the decision in a previous statement hours earlier in the day after Thanksgiving.

“As a precautionary measure until we have more information, I am ordering additional air travel restrictions from South Africa and seven other countries,” Biden said in the statement sent by the White House. “These new restrictions will take effect on November 29. As we move forward, we will continue to be guided by what the science and my medical team advises.”

Biden was among the Democratic leaders who responded with criticism to Trump’s restrictions on travel from China, where the virus originated.

“We are in the midst of a crisis with the coronavirus,” Biden tweeted early last year while still a candidate. “We need to lead the way with science — not Donald Trump’s record of hysteria, xenophobia, and fear-mongering. He is the worst possible person to lead our country through a global health emergency.”

Biden also said a “wall” and bans on travel would not stop the virus.

Many on social media were quick to note Biden’s original tweets when this latest move was announced.

Biden later argued he was referring to Trump’s overall history of inflammatory comments about foreign countries and their nationals, not the China travel ban itself. Similarly, other Democrats contended that Trump’s order curbing travel from seven Muslim-majority countries dealing with terrorism could not be separated from his rhetoric about a broader ban on Muslim immigration during the 2016 campaign.

Only on Nov. 8 did the Biden administration loosen restrictions on European travelers to allow those with proof of vaccination and a negative test entry into the U.S. The White House has also caught criticism from some liberals for continuing to turn away migrants at the border under the Trump-era COVID-19 rule Title 42.

Biden’s newest rule will restrict travel from South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Lesotho, Eswatini, Mozambique, and Malawi to buy time to study ways to slow the spread of the new COVID-19 variant, citing scientific guidance.

There is little difference (other than Biden’s marked talent for demonstrating incompetence) between the two — other than a Democrat-favoring press

As we know from a 22 March 2021 op-ed from The Hill, the press treats Biden very differently from the way they prosecuted Trump.

Sometimes, all it takes is a seemingly insignificant incident to show how biased journalists can be. Take Joe Biden’s stumble while walking up the steps to Air Force One on Friday.

President Biden was on his way to Atlanta when he tripped three times ascending the stairs of Air Force One at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland. The White House blamed it on “wind” and said he “left the plane with ease” when he arrived in Atlanta.

The Daily Mail reports that, “As of Friday afternoon, the homepages of MSNBC, CBS News, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times and New York Times had no mention of Biden’s stumbling incident earlier in the day at Joint Base Andrews.”

According to various organizations that monitor the media, CNN devoted 15 seconds to the incident and MSNBC about a minute. NBC’s Chuck Todd on MSNBC said, “We’ve all run up stairs and had that moment ourselves. And if you haven’t, you aren’t a human being.”

Fair enough. The fall appeared to be no big deal and the coverage reflected the insignificance of what happened.

But compare how the media covered Biden’s fall with how they covered Donald Trump’s slow walk down a ramp after he delivered a graduation address at West Point in June of 2020: According to the Media Research Center, CNN devoted 22 minutes and 13 seconds to Trump’s walk down the ramp, and MSNBC devoted 28 minutes and 42 seconds to the story.

Why so much time? Because it provided liberal news outlets that were no fans of Trump with the opportunity to question his physical and even mental fitness for office.

When Biden, who is 78, fell and it was treated as simply a slip, something we’ve all done at one time or another. But with Trump, who is 74, it was treated as a sign of potential serious health questions.

The New York Times ran “Trump’s Halting Walk Down Ramp Raises New Health Questions” as its headline in 2020. Compare that to its headline when Biden fell last week: “Biden is ‘doing 100 percent fine’ after tripping while boarding Air Force One.”

The Washington Post’s headline in 2020 was: “Trump tries to explain his slow and unsteady walk down a ramp at West Point.” But when Biden fell three times in a matter of seconds, the Post headline simply said: “Biden stumbles climbing stairs on Air Force One.”

In 2020, MSNBC anchor Joy-Ann Reid tweeted: “Serious question: What is going on with [Trump]? His supporters have tried so hard to get the media to question Joe Biden’s mental and physical fitness but they so often engage in projection it seems worth inquiring.”

CNN couldn’t speculate enough about the Trump story in 2020:

  • Anchor Alisyn Camerota asked medical expert Dr. Sanjay Gupta, “Do you see something, possibly neurological, that could be throwing off his balance?” Gupta responded that a lot of neurologists were talking about the situation.
  • Anchor John King said Trump looked “a little shaky” on the ramp.
  • Political correspondent Abby Phillip wondered if Trump was being “transparent” about his health based on the “latest incidents.”
  • Political commentator Chris Cillizza said it was an important story because Trump was 74 at the time. “We know so little about Donald Trump’s past medical history,” Cillizza said. As he talked, the on-screen graphic read: “Trump’s unsteady walk, arm lift raise health questions.”

Then-presidential candidate Biden even got into the act, saying: “Look at how he steps and look at how I step. Watch how I run up ramps and he stumbles down ramps. Come on.”

At the time, then-President Trump responded to speculation that he may have serious medical problems by noting that the ramp was slippery. But Maggie Haberman of the New York Times didn’t buy it. “There was no evidence that the ramp was slippery, and the skies were clear during the ceremony,” she wrote.

And, in its news story, the Times said: “Mr. Trump — who turned 74 on Sunday, the oldest a U.S. president has been in his first term — was recorded hesitantly descending the ramp one step at a time after he delivered an address to graduating cadets at the New York-based academy on Saturday.”

Compare that to how the Times began its March 19 story on President Biden’s stumble: “President Biden was ‘doing fine’ after falling off balance while boarding Air Force One before his Friday trip to Atlanta, according to a press secretary traveling with him.” That seemed to be enough for the Times; there was nothing in its March 19 story that raised questions about Joe Biden’s physical or mental ability because of his stumble.

(Read more at The Hill)

The really crazy thing about this topic of inequity in coverage by the Democrat-favoring press is this March op-ed is the last main-stream acknowledgement of their obvious problem. Don’t tell me that it has not gotten worse since then.

But then there comes broadcasts like the ones captured in the following tweets:

If Trump’s ban most derided act was a Muslim ban and the first COVID travel ban was “hysteria, xenophobia, and fear-mongering” — then this act of Biden’s ban is a Black ban

If the ban that stopped travel from countries on the terrorist watch list can be called a “Muslim ban” by the Democrat-favoring press, then this ban must be called a Black ban.  Truth of the matter is that Biden’s ban will do little to stop the spread of a disease that has hardly-noticeable symptoms and has already cropped up in Canada, Britain, and the Netherlands.

“I didn’t run because of polls:” Biden brushes off dire situations of Americans

Joe Biden gives rare live TV interview to local Cincinnati station, expressing indifference toward the plight of Americans

The Daily Mail points to the hypocrisy of the Biden regime as they callously brush off the rise of gas prices and food.

President Joe Biden participated in a rare live television interview on Monday evening to Cincinnati station Local 12, as his White House contends with surging prices and plummeting approval numbers.

He sat down with the local station just two days after his approval rating hit a new low of 38 percent in the latest USA Today/Suffolk University Poll. Nearly half of those surveyed said Biden failed to meet their expectations for him.

But he shrugged off voters’ displeasure when interviewer Kyle Inskeep asked Biden if those numbers meant needing to shift his focus.

‘Well look, the poll I saw just before I walked in on another station was my polling number is down, but it’s 48 percent to 52 percent,’ the president said.

‘But look, the point is I didn’t run because of the polls.’

He added that Americans were feeling more uncertain right now because of the ongoing pandemic and rising prices at the pump.

‘A lot of people are worried,’ Biden said. ‘Think about this. Look what 750,000 people have died because of COVID. The psychological scars that has put on so many people. Schools have not been opened because of COVID.’

DementiaJoe'sJobApproval

He said ‘we’re in a situation when there’s a lot, a lot of anxiety.’

‘Gas prices are up, exceedingly high,’ Biden continued. ‘That’s why I have the attorney general taking a look at whether or not these gas companies are gouging people.’

He also claimed his poll numbers were comparable to his predecessors during their time in the White House.

During the seven-minute chat, Biden also talked about the passage of his $1.2 trillion bipartisan infrastructure deal.

The president was admittedly late for the interview, which Biden chuckled about when Inskeep excused him as a ‘very busy man.’

‘I’m sorry to keep you waiting, I really am,’ Biden said while folding a black mask and setting it down.

Joe’s handlers have part of this right: much of our issues are based on the economy and his vaccine mandate

We are mad about the economy and the vaccine mandate. However, it is much more than that. And it doesn’t center on Dementia Joe’s low approval rating. I could care less about what other people think of a president; however,

I do care about how much the president cares about America. And with this resident of the Oval Office, the care ain’t there.

The main thing over the past eight-plus months of his tenure have been his non-stop harping on COVID (ending with this nonsensical mandate). I say that, if he is going to live by the COVID sword all this time, let him die on the COVID sword.

Still, Joe pushes ahead with his vaccine mandate by making his DOJ run interference for OSHA

Biden’s DOJ asks court to lift order blocking vaccine rules

The Hill details how Joe Biden’s DOJ has started pushing to have the order blocking vaccine rules lifted.

The Biden administration in a filing late Monday said it has the legal authority to mandate COVID-19 vaccines or tests for larger companies, and that the GOP-led states and businesses challenging the law have not shown their claims will outweigh the harms of stopping the rule.

In a filing to the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, which temporarily blocked the mandate with a nationwide stay last week, the Department of Justice (DOJ) said the rule is firmly grounded in law and necessary to keep people safe.

Stopping the mandate from taking effect “would likely cost dozens or even hundreds of lives per day,” the DOJ wrote. “Petitioners’ asserted injuries, by contrast, are speculative and remote and do not outweigh the interest in protecting employees from a dangerous virus while this case proceeds.”

DOJ was responding to the court’s ruling on Saturday, when a panel of three judges issued a stay of the rule, citing “grave statutory and constitutional issues.” All three judges on the panel were appointed by Republican presidents.

The rule was issued last week by the Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), under its emergency authority. The rule would force companies with at least 100 employees to require unvaccinated employees to wear masks indoors starting Dec. 5 and then undergo weekly testing if they remain unvaccinated by Jan. 4.

Federal law gives OSHA the authority to issue an emergency temporary standard if it determines workers are exposed to a “grave danger” that necessitates a rule. However, the states and private companies argue that COVID-19 is not a “grave danger” specific to the workplace, saying the rule is an unlawful overreach of federal power.

The DOJ also argues there is no need to address the challenges immediately, because there is a congressionally mandated process for judicial review of OSHA standards. Since the challenges were filed in separate courts, there is going to be a lottery on Nov. 16 to determine which court will hear the lawsuit.

The Biden regime has proven itself the most dismissive regime of Supreme Court rulings

The Supreme Court told Biden that his eviction moratorium was unconstitutional. What did Biden do? He had his CDC issue an extension of that unconstitutional act.

Now, the Biden regime has had its hands slapped by the Fifth Circuit Court. What does Biden do? He pushes ahead by both arguing in court against it and getting his DOJ to do his dirty work. Additionally, he has instructed companies to ignore the Fifth Circuit Court.

Biden truly is a dictator.

Biden does not care about your legal rights

The tyrannical treatment of 6 January prisoners is a threat to our democracy

The Epoch Times outlines the ways that the despotic denials of freedom for those imprisoned for protesting on 6 January have acted against the freedoms of all Americans.

Republican Rep. Gohmert Discusses Issues Related To Jan. 6th Assault On CapitolSince the founding of this great nation, a God-blessed America has offered the hope of liberty to the world. In more recent years, we have come to realize that should our experiment in self-governance fail, there would be no other nation on Earth that could fill the void left in its wake as the defender of such freedom.

Never before had any nation been founded to safeguard the rights of the individual, which changed the course of human history from brute force dictating propriety to recognition that every individual has value. Our Declaration of Independence enshrined the truth that individual rights come from the hand of our Creator, acknowledging them to be established by the Almighty and therefore not defined by the brute force realm of human power.

It took a Civil War and civil rights movement for America to grow into the profound commitments of its Declaration of Independence and Constitution. The Declaration has stood the test of time to ensure liberty for all in our nation and as the beacon of hope for the rest of the world. Our nation has continued to move to right the wrongs of fallible human beings and build upon the past.

We were getting exceedingly close.

Under Biden’s rule, for the first time in our history, normalizing the denial of civil rights and civil liberties based on ideology, not wrongdoing, is presented as a noble cause. Equal justice under the law for the Biden Department of Justice (DOJ) has taken a giant leap backward in embracing the medieval notion of might makes right in glorifying the denial of civil rights for political opponents. It is shameful and dangerous.

For months, elected officials representing the citizens of this country have been seeking truthful, non-politicized answers from the government about the events that unfolded on Jan. 6. We have been continually stonewalled, belittled, ignored, and even demonized by the DOJ, leadership at the Capitol Police, and the Bureau of Prisons. They each ignore requests and questions, refusing to allow oversight of their actions that gives every appearance of a cover-up of wrongdoing.

Think of the legal doctrine of spoliation. In court, if one party holds evidence and destroys it or refuses to produce it, the judge may instruct the jury to infer that the evidence is completely against the party hiding it. This is exactly what they are doing.

Should ideology and abuse of power continue to drive this administration’s actions, the Rule of Law will cease to exist. The only safeguard against these obvious improprieties is transparency. Until recent times, our country protected our individual freedoms by dragging every ugly wart out into the light of day to examine the actions of our government. We gave deference to individual rights. By its actions, the Biden administration is shredding the foundations of our legal system and the rights of the people’s representatives to protect them from government abuse.

From the attacks on the Project Veritas reporters to the Obama-era wiretapping of reporters to , today’s Democrats have a penchant for suppressing

Whether they are suppressing the press (as with Obama’s treatment of the press or Biden’s attacks on his advisaries), recent Democrats have worked to suppress their political enemies in the press. Likewise, they have used similar tactics against their civilian and political enemies (as with the 6 January protesters and any true conservative).

Biden attacks the press again

FBI Raids James O’Keefe’s house over Ashley Biden diary

Breitbart reports on the attacks on the First Amendment that took the form of FBI raids on Project Veritas members.

James-OKeefeThe FBI raided James O’Keefe’s home in New York on Saturday, apparently looking for clues in the alleged theft of a diary belonging to Ashley Biden, the daughter of President Joe Biden.

The New York Times reported on the raid, in a piece co-written by several Pulitzer Prize-winning journalists, including one, Michael S. Schmidt, who boasts that he won the award for coverage of President Trump and his campaign’s ties to Russia, though that story has since completely fallen apart.

Several pages purporting to be from the diary were published during the election, but were largely ignored, amid doubts about their authenticity.

The Times noted:

Federal authorities on Saturday searched the home of James O’Keefe, the founder of the conservative group Project Veritas, according to witnesses and people briefed on the matter, a day after Mr. O’Keefe acknowledged that the group was under investigation by the Justice Department in connection with a diary reported to have been stolen from Ashley Biden, President Biden’s daughter.

(continued)

Mr. O’Keefe did not immediately respond to a request for comment on Saturday. But in a video statement on Friday, he said that his group had recently received a grand jury subpoena and acknowledged that Project Veritas had been involved in discussions with sources last year about the diary.

O’Keefe said that his Project Veritas decided not to run stories about the diary, and had returned it to law enforcement:

George Washington University Jonathan Turley wrote that the O’Keefe raid was odd, as a stolen diary did not seem to implicate any kind federal crime, and suggested the possibility that Biden’s Department of Justice might have been targeting a journalist seen as a political opponent.

(Read about the weaponization of the FBI at Breitbart)

Odd thing about these attacks on Project Veritas reporters and its founder is that Joe Biden promised not to attack the press again

The Associated Press once reported on Joe Biden’s promise not to attack the press as he had during years previous.

President Joe Biden says he won’t allow the Department of Justice to seize journalists’ phone records and emails, calling the practice “wrong” in a significant departure from his predecessors.

“Absolutely, positively, it’s wrong. It’s simply, simply wrong,” he told a reporter Friday at the White House.

His comments come as CNN reported Thursday that the Trump administration Justice Department secretly obtained the 2017 phone records of one of their correspondents, the latest revelation of an apparent leak investigation aimed at identifying a journalist’s sources that was launched during the last administration.

(Read more blatant lies at the Associated Press)

The problem with Biden’s promise in February not to attack the press was that he broke that promise in June and at least twice again with his FBI raids on Project Veritas during the past few weeks.

When even the Washington Post calls out Democrats, those Democrats have progressed far into dictatorship

As put in a 6 June 2021 Washington Post op-ed covering Biden’s second infraction against the press, the Biden regime is “simply, simply wrong” in the way it treats what it sees as an adversary press. With Biden’s now throwing the FBI onto the investigative reporters of Project Veritas, the Biden regime has gone from suppressive to dictatorial.

During the final days of the Trump administration, the attorney general used extraordinary measures to obtain subpoenas to secretly seize records of reporters at three leading U.S. news organizations. After this was reported last month, President Biden rightly decried this attack on the First Amendment, calling it “simply, simply wrong” and assuring Americans that it would not happen in his administration.

Unfortunately, new revelations suggest that the Biden Justice Department not only allowed these disturbing intrusions to continue — it intensified the government‘s attack on First Amendment rights before finally backing down in the face of reporting about its conduct.

After Biden took office, the department continued to pursue subpoenas for reporters’ email logs issued to Google, which operates the New York Times’ email systems, and it obtained a gag order compelling a Times attorney to keep silent about the fact that federal authorities were seeking to seize his colleagues’ records. Later, when the Justice Department broadened the number of those permitted to know about the effort, it barred Times executives from discussing the legal battle with the Times newsroom, including the paper’s top editor.

This escalation, on Biden’s watch, represents an unprecedented assault on American news organizations and their efforts to inform the public about government wrongdoing.

Last month, The Post learned of secret subpoenas authorized by President Donald Trump’s outgoing attorney general to obtain email information and home, cell and office telephone records of three Post reporters over a 3½-month span in 2017. We immediately requested an explanation and answers to several questions from the Justice Department as well as a meeting with the attorney general.

To date, no answers have been provided and the meeting has yet to take place. This delay is troubling. When asked about how the president’s assurances can be squared with his Justice Department’s behavior, White House press secretary Jen Psaki could offer no explanation. She subsequently released a statement disavowing White House knowledge of the actions that appear to have continued for several months during Biden’s presidency.

Throughout U.S. history, there have been inevitable differences between news organizations seeking to shed light on government activity and government officials seeking to preserve secrecy. As a society, we have become accustomed to these tensions. For the most part, they have been constructive and good for the health of our democracy. However, the egregious acts by the outgoing Trump Justice Department, and the apparent doubling down on them during the Biden administration, should alarm all Americans, regardless of political persuasion.

The First Amendment is not a special privilege of the press but, rather, a fundamental right protecting all Americans. It empowers citizens to hold their elected officials to account by ensuring that wrongdoing, even at the highest levels, will be brought to light. Much of this reporting would be impossible without courageous government employees who, after learning about serious misdeeds, improper programs conducted under the cloak of secrecy, or other actions contrary to America’s fundamental principles and national interests, take the risk of speaking to reporters in confidence to bring such conduct to the attention of their fellow citizens.

Biden does not care about Americans abroad

Dozens of Americans are still stranded in Afghanistan

The Daily Mail calls out the Biden regime on the Americans still stranded in Afghanistan.

Dozens of family members of American soldiers remain trapped in Afghanistan and at the mercy of the Taliban more than two months after the Biden administration’s botched withdrawal from the country.

Those stranded include children, siblings and parents of US service members, as well as more than 100 extended family members.

The Pentagon does not have a ‘good accounting’ of how many family members of DOD civilians remain trapped in Afghanistan since the last US flight left Kabul airport at the end of August, NBC News reported

‘The federal government has turned their backs on them. If we abandon the family members of our service men and women in Afghanistan, they will certainly be slaughtered by the Taliban,’ Texas Rep. Michael McCaul said.

Congress members have been pressuring the Pentagon to help those stranded since the withdrawal fiasco, which included the deaths of 13 troops in a terror attack at Kabul airport.

In September, McCaul sent a letter to Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and Secretary of State Antony Blinken asking them to assist in the escape efforts.

‘Over the past month, I have been contacted by hundreds of Texans who are desperately trying to get friends and family members safe out of the country,’ he wrote. ‘That includes the family members of several Texans who currently serve in the military.’

Pentagon officials have claimed that many of services members whose family remain trapped were Afghan born.

In an effort to launch a rescue mission, the Pentagon has created a database of those who can’t get out of the Taliban-controlled country.

Secretary of Defense for Policy Colin Kahl, in a memo Thursday, asked any military personnel and defense department civilians with immediate family members stuck in Afghanistan to contact the government and have their loved ones added to the database.

‘Any US military personnel or DoD civilian employees with immediate family members still in Afghanistan who desire assistance departing should contact the OUSD(P) Afghan Referrals mailbox,’ he wrote.

  1. Name for me one thing that a COVID vaccine mandate accomplishes

Truckers warn that “disastrous” OSHA mandate will worsen the supply chain chaos

The Epoch Times reports on complaints from independent-minded truckers as they observe an out-of-control occupier of the Oval Office.

Trucking industry groups issued warnings after President Joe Biden’s administration unveiled a COVID-19 vaccine rule targeting private businesses with 100 or more workers, saying the mandate would damage the industry.

“As we made clear in our comments to the administration prior to the rule’s publication, drivers spend the vast majority of their workday alone in the cab and outside,” the American Trucking Associations President Chris Spear said in a statement last week after the rule was published in the Federal Register.

On Nov. 4, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) released guidance stipulating businesses with 100 or more employees be required to have their workers provide proof of weekly COVID-19 tests or get vaccinated. Businesses with contracts with the federal government, regardless of size, will have to mandate vaccines with no weekly testing option.

The deadline for the vaccine mandate for both federal contractors and private businesses was set for Jan. 4.

“While we complete our due diligence to confirm that fact through official channels, we see quotes from Labor Secretary [Marty] Walsh as an enormous victory for our association and industry,” Spear added. “Given the nationwide shortage of truck drivers, it is vital that our industry has the relief it needs to keep critical goods moving, including food, fuel, medicine, and the vaccine itself,” he continued.

If you can catch, spread, and die from COVID after the vaccine, why enforce a vaccine?

We know that numerous people have caught COVID after taking the vaccination (5,800 in April 2021 by the admission of the CDC). We also know that people can spread COVID after being vaccinated. Finally, even if we discount the high-profile vaccinated people with comorbidities, we know you can die after getting the jab.

So why get the jab?

What’s more, why require a vaccination if this is the record?

Because OSHA governs workplace conditions, what jurisdiction does it have over vaccines and health?

I understand how OSHA might require people to wear steel-toed shoes and hard hats while working in areas where parts weighing between 5 pounds and multiple tons get lifted overhead. I likewise understand the role of OSHA where asbestos has been used (or might still be a component of) items in the workplace.

However, I don’t understand how OSHA gets involved in regulating something that depends completely on the reaction of human bodies to viruses.

Does this mean that we get to defund and disband the National Institutes of Health, Center for Disease Control, National Institutes for Allergies, and Food and Drug Administration?

What’s more, since OSHA and all of the alphabet soup organizations named in the paragraph above all are supposed to derive their power and money from Congress, what Congressional action has instigated this? Unless we have officially gone down the dictatorship road, Congress needs to be involved in the changing of mission for OSHA.

Biden was ruled by the Supreme Court to have had no authority to use the CDC to take landlord’s property through the eviction moratorium. What authority does he have in making a specific health decision for all America?

What happened to the Democrat chant “My body. My choice” once the COVID vaccines started?

If Biden’s vaccine mandate comes from emergency powers, when do the emergency powers end?

What part of “emergency powers” are announced in the summer of 2021 and will not kick in until 4 January 2021? Emergency powers should be for something that requires immediate action.

The whole narrative of this COVID pandemic argues against any current “emergency powers,” Over a year ago, we were told that we would stay home “two weeks to flatten the curve.” Houstonians were told by Democrat Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo to mask up in 2020. Now it’s 2021 and she still blathers on about wearing masks.

To add insult to injury, the old guy who can’t keep his own policies straight now wants to mandate the injection of an experimental vaccine that has caused heart damage in numerous people.

  1. Explain why Biden should pay illegal aliens

Americans express overwhelming opposition to Biden paying illegal migrants

The Washington Examiner points out the great opposition to Biden’s idea of paying illegal aliens $450K for the inconvenience of being separated from their children while they were in jail.

The public does not need to hear anything more about President Joe Biden’s plan to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars to migrant parents that crossed the border illegally and were separated from their children during their criminal processing.

That is because two different polls released today found that nearly 60% are totally against the idea of paying up to $450,000 each in a controversial policy the Biden White House flip-flopped on all last week.

In the latest Rasmussen Reports survey, 57% said that Americans shouldn’t pay a cent to those who entered the United States illegally with their children and were separated under a Trump-era criminal procedure.

However, some 14% said they are open to a check of $50,000-$100,000. Democrats were first in line to OK the payments, said Rasmussen.

In a similar Trafalgar Group survey, 56% oppose the reported $450,000 payments to illegal immigrants for their “psychological trauma.” That rises to 65% when those with no opinion on the issue are pulled out of the results.

Last week, Biden rejected reports he was eyeing payments of up to $450,000 to illegal immigrants. His White House then said that payments might be made. And by the end of the week, Biden had flipped to say that he backs compensation but wouldn’t set a price.

In the Trafalgar poll, conducted for Convention of States Action and provided to Secrets, 55% also said that the U.S.-Mexico border should be closed while the administration works on a new immigration plan.

Under Biden, illegal immigration has reached historic levels, and the White House has done little to slow the crossings. This year is expected to experience the most-ever illegal crossings in U.S. history.

The failure to deal with the issue has made it a top concern in the nation and helped to fuel former President Donald Trump’s political comeback.

No, I don’t want another check from Biden. I want sane spending on real needs. I don’t want to hand out money to criminals.

I would like to see less handouts like the ones voted for by 200 Democrats and 13 Republicans (even though the politicians would like for us to believe that it is “infrastructure” — I do not equate infrastructure to electric cars, eco-ferries, eco-busses, “revitalized communities,” clean water [that will likely never reach parts of “fly-over” country], tax cuts for liberal cities, tax cuts for liberal states, and other Democrat priorities).

  1. Explain why putting the poorest among us out of their cars is a good thing

US gasoline prices vault to new 7-year high

The Epoch Times lays out how gasoline prices have not been higher since 2014.

Prices of regular Washington Examinergasoline in the United States have risen to a new seven-year high, according to new data from AAA, as elevated crude prices and an uptick in gasoline demand put upward pressure on prices at the pump.

As of Nov. 8, the national average price for a gallon of regular gasoline in the United States rose to a seven-year high of $3.422, up slightly from the previous day’s average of $3.421 and a penny more than the week-ago average of $3.402, according to AAA.

Last week, gasoline demand rose from 9.32 million barrels per day to 9.5 million barrels per day, AAA said, citing recent data from the Energy Information Administration (EIA).

“The slight increase in demand has contributed to price increases, while elevated crude prices continue to put upward market pressure on pump prices,” AAA said in a note.

A separate analysis from Lundberg Survey found that the average price for regular-grade gasoline in the United States jumped by 5 cents over the past two weeks, to $3.49 per gallon, about $1.30 higher than a year ago.

The Biden administration has faced sharp criticism over rising gasoline prices, but it has “no immediate plans” to tap into emergency reserves or limit energy exports outside the United States, the Energy Department told CNBC several weeks ago, while President Joe Biden last week remained noncommittal on ordering a Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) release.

Biden was asked at a Nov. 6 press briefing when he would respond with an SPR release given that “OPEC-plus has snubbed your call to pump more oil,” with the reporter referring to the cartel’s decision earlier in the week to ignore the administration’s request to increase production more sharply, opting instead to stick to a previously agreed plan to gradually raise crude production by 400,000 barrels per day each month.

I really want to hear why the rich get electric car subsidies and other tax cuts and the poor get priced out of their cars — and that gets counted as “infrastructure” and “equity”

Liberal logic often escapes me. However, how the rich can get tax state-level tax cuts, city-level tax cuts, electric car subsidies, and other perks from the Democrats while still calling it all just “infrastructure” and other Democrat keywords is beyond me.

Why can’t the Democrat suck-ups see that all of the “infrastructure” is a transfer from the powerless to the powerful?

  1. After all of Joe’s many screw-ups, why do you support someone with such a low view of you?

Biden gets accused of mocking Americans’ intellect: “You think they’d understand what we’re talking about?”

The Daily Wire reflects on Joe’s careless comments about Americans and their knowledge of the supply chain that he has gummed up.

President Joe Biden was accused of mocking Americans’ intelligence on Saturday during remarks that he gave in the morning as he answered only a few questions from reporters.

Biden made the remarks about Americans’ knowledge of supply chains as he said that the pandemic has impacted the lives of every American.

“COVID has disrupted almost every family one way or another, whether it’s wearing a mask or losing a family member. You know, 750,000-plus Americans dead — 750,000,” Biden said. “And so, people are worried. People are also worried about, you know, coming up — they don’t — understandably. ‘Why is the price of — of agricultural products — and when I go to the store, why is it higher?’”

“What — like, for example, if I had — if we were all going out and having lunch together and I said, ‘Let’s ask whoever the — whoever is at the next table, no matter how — what restaurant we’re in — have them explain the supply chain to us.’ You think they’d understand what we’re talking about?” Biden continued. “They’re smart people. But supply chain — ‘Well, why is everything backed up?’ Well, it’s backed up because the people who supply the materials that end up being on our kitchen table or in our — in our fam- — our life — guess what? They’re closing those plants because they have COVID.”

Grabien founder Tom Elliott responded to Biden’s remarks by writing that Biden “mocks Americans’ intelligence.”

Batten down the hatches, the storm will soon begin

While we already experience empty shelves, Biden mandates firing of employees and providing more paid sick leave

As even the liberal New York Times reports, Biden has set a 4 January 2022 deadline for starting his vaccine mandate.

BidenNotEnoughSenseThe Biden administration on Thursday set Jan. 4 as the deadline for large companies to mandate coronavirus vaccinations or start weekly testing of their workers, the government’s biggest effort yet to enlist private businesses in combating the virus.

The new rule, applying to companies with 100 or more employees, is expected to cover 84 million workers, roughly 31 million of whom are unvaccinated. It lays out details of a plan President Biden announced in September, invoking emergency powers over workplace safety.

In a separate measure that will affect 17 million more workers, nursing homes and other health care facilities that receive Medicare and Medicaid funds must ensure all employees are vaccinated by Jan. 4, with no option for testing. The president has previously imposed vaccine requirements on federal workers, a group that totals more than four million people, and companies that have federal contracts. (The latter group’s deadline was pushed to Jan. 4, from early December.)

But the mandate on large private businesses is the most far-reaching and potentially controversial measure in the government’s efforts to fight the pandemic. Attorneys general in at least 24 states have threatened to sue. Republican governors and some industry trade groups have opposed the requirement, and the 20 percent of U.S. adults who remain unvaccinated may take issue as well.

And the administration is considering going even further. The Labor Department said it had opened a 30-day comment period on whether it should extend the rules to smaller companies.

(continued)

The rule does, however, instruct employers to require masks for unvaccinated workers by Dec. 5. Companies must provide paid time off for vaccinations and sick leave for side effects as needed. The requirement does not apply to remote and outdoor workers. Some major companies including Tyson Foods and United Airlines have already embraced vaccine mandates. But for many that have been fearful of resistance, the new requirement provides cover to enforce mandates and clarification on a range of questions, including who will pay for testing and whether it applies to employees who work at home.

(continued)

Employers are not required to either pay for or provide tests, though some may still be compelled to do so by other laws or agreements with unions. Forcing unvaccinated employees to pay for tests, the rule notes, “will provide a financial incentive for some employees to be fully vaccinated.”

Companies that fail to comply may be fined. An OSHA penalty is typically $13,653 for every serious violation, but can be up to 10 times that amount if OSHA determines that the violation is willful or repeated.

OSHA approaches enforcement in a number of ways: It can target inspections at high-risk industries, or it can inspect workplaces in response to complaints or news reports about unsafe conditions.

Why would we expect Joe to really learn from Barack?

Just as Barack issued the DACA executive order just after the 2014 mid-terms, Joe Biden has decided to give the middle-finger salute to America in response to their rejection of CRT and other socialist themes. Of course, in Obama’s case, the failure of Obamacare and then the finger-in-the-eye of DACA was (in large part) what gave us President Trump.

In Joe’s case (just to enter this phase), Joe has been denying that the inflation and supply-chain problems that have wrecked and wracked America for nearly ten months have come from:

  • A misguided, largely Democrat-mandated COVID-lockdown of America,
  • Overly-generous unemployment benefits (usually implemented in Democrat states), and
  • Fearmongering by those in the press and Government.

Now, we find him doubling down on the above mistakes by:

  • In many cases needlessly reducing our experienced workforce (since many have natural immunity through having caught COVID),
  • Putting the segment of the workforce that chooses later vaccination into paid sick leave as they recover from complications from the jab,
  • Imposing business-killing fines when employees refuse vaccinations (aka punishing someone for another person’s purported crime — since Biden has made illness a crime),
  • Forcing businesses — especially the trucking industry — to endure the nightmare of replacing (and, therefore, training the replacements) all of those fired or put on sick leave,
  • Forcing the unvaccinated to violate their medical privacy by having them self-identify through the masking requirement in this mandate, and
  • Extending the government’s control through COVID (which was most of the point of the fearmongering — unless you count the fearmongering Democrat press — who were partially out for the ratings).

Therefore, we can expect longer and more inflation (since Biden’s Fed will be printing more money than there will be goods produced). Additionally, we can expect even more inflation, because people taking new or additional jobs don’t do it for charity wages. We can expect more supply-chain disruptions, since there will be fewer experienced people out there to drive the trucks, unload the barges, sell the cars, and do the American unglamorous work.

Biden’s vaccine mandate has disastrous results in the military

Army surgeon grounds newly-vaccinated pilots after they develop serious chest pain

The Western Journal reports that pilots are being grounded after taking Biden’s mandated COVID vaccination.

groundedcopter“I believe the COVID vaccine is a greater threat to soldiers’ health and military readiness than the virus itself,” U.S. Army aerospace physician Lt. Col. Theresa Long said Tuesday.

Long, who is senior flight surgeon at the U.S. Army Flight School at Fort Rucker, Alabama, was addressing a roundtable discussion put together by Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wisconsin). She said she was speaking under federal military whistleblower protection.

She recalled how “I saw five patients in clinic – two of which presented with chest pain – days to weeks after vaccination and were subsequently diagnosed with pericarditis and worked up to rule out myocarditis.

“The third pilot had been vaccinated and felt like he was drunk – chronically fatigued within 24 hours after vaccination. The pilot told me he didn’t know what to do, so he drank a lot of coffee to try and ‘wake himself up’ and continued to fly, until he realized it wasn’t going away.”

From the beginning, we knew that both COVID and the mRNA “vaccination” caused inflammation in critical organs

We knew from the first reports on COVID that it caused the heart, lungs, and brain to swell. Likewise, we knew that the mRNA treatment was designed to cause the body to react to the virus in a lessened, but similar, fashion. Therefore, we knew that the reaction to the treatment would be swelling of the heart, lungs, and brain.

From that, it should have been no surprise when a teen dies after getting the COVID vaccine or another vaccinated teen dies while exerting himself on the football field. Certainly, it should not cause a stir when a healthy pre-teen becomes in capacitated by the experimental “vaccine.”

Nonetheless, one would think that those in charge of both COVID mandates and the military might start to put two and two together. That is, in case they are not attempting to tank the economy and turn all Americans against them (at which point they will proclaim martial law), maybe they should start doing things for the BENEFIT of America.

Or does that ask too much of Dementia Joe (you know, the guy napping at the Climate Crisis convention while issuing COVID mandates)?

Comcast suppresses an ad showing a girl’s reaction to the experimental vaccine

Comcast says no to ad depicting teen’s vaccine reaction

Jon Sullivan at KTRH reports that Comcast has refused an ad showing the suffering of a 13-year-old who volunteered for Pfizer’s COVID vaccine clinical trial.

Comcast allegedly has rejected a controversial ad paid for by the Vaccine Safety Research Foundation featuring 13-year-old Maddie de Garay, an Ohio girl whose mother signed her up to participate in Pfizer’s COVID vaccine clinical trial.

The ad shows adverse reactions that occurred after the girl’s second injection in January, according to her mother, Stephanie de Garay. She told reporters that Maddie and her two brothers participated in Pfizer’s trials for 12 to 15 year olds. De Garay has said she and her husband are pro-vaccine and pro-science.

Comcast is said to have told the ad’s buyer it was rejected because it needed substantiation and all graphic images needed to be removed. Documents reportedly submitted for substantiation included the girl’s complete medical records, which are said to have outlined symptoms such as erratic blood pressure and pulse, muscle spasms, muscle tremors, headaches, brain fog, mixing up words, and the inability to walk and cough. She has been admitted to a hospital three times in recent months.

In times past, I have been tempted to deal with Comcast

In years past, I have heard of the purported lower prices offered by Comcast. However, they fall in the same boat as YouTube and Google now (just based on their actions).

I will not deal with Comcast and will not mourn if any regulatory groups looks to break up that large company.

The Vision Times also reports on the plight of Maddie Garay

The Vision Times likewise reported that an advertisement featuring the plight of Maddie Garay was blocked by Comcast.

Comcast has allegedly pulled a controversial ad slated to run in the lead up to and during a public Food and Drug Administration (FDA) advisory committee meeting on Pfizer-BioNTech’s application to distribute its injection to children aged 5 to 11.

The committee is the Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee (FRBPAC) and the meeting is set to occur on Oct. 26. The government website for the event states it will occur online because of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) and that “the committee will meet in open session to discuss a request to amend Pfizer-BioNTech’s EUA for administration of their COVID-19 mRNA vaccine to children 5 through 11 years of age.”

The ad in question is a clip paid for by the Vaccine Safety Research Foundation (VSRF) featuring 13-year-old Maddie de Garay, a girl whose “pro-vaccine and pro-science” mother signed her up to participate in Pfizer’s clinical trial. Immediately following Maddie receiving the second dose of injection in January, severe adverse reactions occurred, which have not abated.

COVID news the main stream press ignores – UPDATED

Featured

  1. “Fully vaccinated” account for 82% of Illinois public high school’s COVID cases

LifeSiteNews reports that 82% of the COVID cases in Illinois high schools were fully-vaccinated.

Oak_Park_and_River_Forest_High_School_walkoutOak Park and River Forest High School (OPRF) has 17 confirmed cases of COVID-19 as of September 9, with 14 cases coming from individuals who have been fully jabbed.

The public school, located just outside the city of Chicago, lists on its COVID dashboard 79% of students as fully jabbed and 88% of teachers and staff fully inoculated. At least 11 cases are students and four are employees, but the breakdown of vaccinated individuals is not provided.

Illinois Democrat Gov. JB Pritzker has mandated all school staff receive the jab as a condition of employment. College students must also get jabbed.

While K-12 students are not required to get vaccinated in the Land of Lincoln, the high school has encouraged its enrollees to get jabbed.

“Earlier in the pandemic, the overall target for approaching herd immunity was 70% of our population fully vaccinated,” the school said. “However, the Delta variant has changed the equation. According to our most recent guidance, we should aim for a fully vaccinated rate of closer to 90% or higher.”

It has also hosted jab clinics for teachers and staff and asked everyone to submit inoculation proof, though it is not yet mandatory.

LifeSiteNews emailed OPRF on September 14 but did not receive a response to questions. LifeSite asked communications director Karin Sullivan and communications coordinator Jackie McGoey if they could confirm the infection data and if they had any comment on the infections among fully jabbed students and staff.

If the initial projections had been correct, herd immunity would have been reached with 70% vaccination

The fact that people can catch, transmit, and die from COVID-19 (maybe better described as COVID-1984) after getting the vaccine argues strongly against getting the vaccine. The additional heart inflammation risks associated with the vaccination (refer to article #7 in this post, since WordPress cannot handle stable in-file links) really brings this business into question.

  1. Virus surge hits New England despite high vaccination rates

The Associated Press let it slip that a COVID surge has occurred despite high rates of citizens being fully-vaccinated.

Despite having the highest vaccination rates in the country, there are constant reminders for most New England states of just how vicious the delta variant of COVID-19 is.

Hospitals across the region are seeing full intensive care units and staff shortages are starting to affect care. Public officials are pleading with the unvaccinated to get the shots. Health care workers are coping with pent-up demand for other kinds of care that had been delayed by the pandemic.

“I think it’s clearly frustrating for all of us,” said Michael Pieciak, the commissioner of the Vermont Department of Financial Regulation who monitors COVID-19 statistics for the state. “We want kids to be safe in school, we want parents not to have to worry about their child’s education and health.”

Even though parts of New England are seeing record case counts, hospitalizations and deaths that rival pre-vaccine peaks, largely among the unvaccinated, the region hasn’t seen the impact the delta variant wave has wrought on other parts of the country.

According to statistics from The Associated Press, the five states with the highest percentage of a fully vaccinated population are all in New England, with Vermont leading, followed by Connecticut, Maine, Rhode Island and Massachusetts. New Hampshire is 10th.

According to the AP data, full vaccination rates across the six New England states range from a high of 69.4% in Vermont to 61.5% in New Hampshire.

Despite the relatively high vaccination rates — the U.S. as a whole is averaging 55.5% — there are still hundreds of thousands of people across the region who, for one reason or another, remain unvaccinated and vulnerable to infection.

Now, a Rhode Island official said he didn’t think the 70% vaccination goal, once touted as the level that would help end the pandemic in the state, is enough.

“What we’ve learned with delta and looking beyond delta, is because that’s where our focus is as well, to really reach those levels of vaccination, to give you that true population level protection, you need to be in excess of 90%,” said Tom McCarthy, the executive director of the Rhode Island Department of Health COVID Response Unit.

“We have it in our power to end this needless suffering and heartbreak; a way to protect our health and that of the people we love; a way to give our heroic doctors, nurses, and other medical professionals a much-needed break; a way to protect our children – please get vaccinated today,” Maine’s Democratic Gov. Janet Mills said recently.

Yet the head of UMass Memorial Health, the largest health system in central Massachusetts, said recently that regional hospitals were seeing nearly 20 times more COVID-19 patients than in June and there isn’t an ICU bed to spare.

In Connecticut, the Legislature just extended the governor’s emergency powers to make it easier to cope with the latest wave of the pandemic.

Case counts in Vermont, which has continually boasted about high vaccination and low hospitalization and death rates, are the highest during the pandemic. Hospitalizations are approaching the pandemic peak from last winter and September was Vermont’s second-deadliest month during the pandemic.

On Sept. 22, Maine had nearly 90 people in intensive care units, a pandemic peak for the state. Maine also recently passed 1,000 deaths since the start of the pandemic.

Dr. Gretchen Volpe, an infectious disease specialist at the 48-bed York Hospital in Maine, said the delta surge has made it harder to find care for patients who need more assistance.

(Read about the national issues and responses in Vermont at the Associated Press)

Biden told us a lie when he said that “this is a pandemic of the unvaccinated.”

If the vaccinated are catching and dying of COVID, then this is not a pandemic of the unvaccinated.

  1. Former CDC Director gives alarming statistic on fully-vaccinated COVID deaths

Townhall comments on some alarming COVID statistics among the fully-vaccinated.

Speaking during an interview with Fox News Monday afternoon, former Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Robert Redfield said that more than 40 percent of people who have recently died from Wuhan coronavirus in Maryland were fully vaccinated.

“A lot of times people may feel it’s a rare event that fully vaccinated people die. I happen to be the senior advisor to Governor Hogan in the state of Maryland. In the last 6-8 weeks, more than 40 percent of people who died in Maryland were fully vaccinated,” Redfield said, responding to the death of former Secretary of State Colin Powell.

At the time of his death from virus complications, Powell was also fighting a blood cancer that lowers the ability to stave off infection. According to the Maryland Department of Health, 65.7 percent of adults in the state are fully vaccinated.

Forty percent. Tell me which of ABC, NBC, or CBS told us about 40% of hospitalized COVID patients being fully-vaccinated

If you post a link to the recording of the evening news broadcast that announced 40% or more of the COVID patients being fully-vaccinated, I will do my best to publicize the newly-discovered truthfulness of the main stream media. I will put it on Twitter, Parler, MeWe, and every other social media outlet I can access. However, if nobody can, I will also do the same.

  1. “Fully vaccinated” were the majority of COVID deaths in Sweden, UK in September

LifeSiteNews tells us that the majority of COVID deaths in Britain and Sweden were fully-vaccinated.

busy_hospital“Fully vaccinated” people accounted for the vast majority of COVID-19 deaths in Sweden and the U.K. last month, government data has revealed, amid a rise in breakthrough cases and deaths in other Western countries.

The Public Health Agency of Sweden reported earlier this month that 70 percent of COVID-19 deaths between September 1-24 occurred in the “fully vaccinated,” according to Swedish newspaper Svenska Dagbladet. Sweden recorded around 130 fatal COVID cases during that timeframe.

“It is still mainly about the elderly, but vaccine experts still see a tendency towards declining vaccine protection in Sweden,” Svenska Dagbladet said.

Possible reasons for the uptick in vaccinated deaths include “that it has now been quite a while since the oldest ones were vaccinated, that the vaccine coverage has increased, that the restrictions have been eased, and that the Delta strain has taken over,” microbiology researcher Farshid Jalalvand told the paper.

Sweden’s death numbers crashed after health officials scaled back restrictions at the beginning of June, however, with virtually no COVID fatalities reported in the Scandinavian country throughout July and August. Deaths began to climb again by mid-September, by which time nearly 75 percent of Swedes older than 16 were “fully vaccinated.”

Despite Sweden’s mass vaccination campaign, the recent surge in infections has led to the highest number of COVID-19 cases in Swedish senior care residents since February.

New testing protocol announced by Swedish authorities last week may make breakthrough cases less of a factor in future data reporting in any case. On Thursday, the Public Health Agency announced that “fully vaccinated” people with coronavirus symptoms will be exempt from testing requirements, days after the agency revealed the spike in post-vaccination COVID deaths.

UK: 70% of COVID deaths were ‘fully vaccinated’

Recent data published by British health authorities indicated a similar breakthrough surge in the U.K.

report by the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) published October 7 noted that most British COVID-19 deaths in September were among the “fully vaccinated,” as were most hospitalizations. The U.K. has a nearly identical vaccination rate to Sweden’s.

Between September 6 and October 3, 70 percent of deadly COVID cases occurred in the fully-jabbed, according to the UKHSA data, with 2,281 deaths in “fully vaccinated” people and just 611 in the unvaccinated within 28 days of a positive test. Partially vaccinated people accounted for 98 deaths.

Thankfully, the British press does expose a degree of the problem

Again and again, America finds itself beholden to foreign press outlets (like those in Canada, Britain, Australia, and Europe) for accurate news (as opposed to the bilge produced by the liberal American press).

  1. Data shows increase of vaccinated people among hospitalized Marylanders

Baltimore NBC affiliate WBAL points out how 40% of the hospitalized Marylanders have been fully-vaccinated.

While state data shows the vast majority of Marylanders currently hospitalized with COVID-19 are either unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, the percentage of people fully vaccinated is ticking upward.

Infections, illness and hospitalizations are increasing rapidly among fully vaccinated people, according to data from the Maryland Department of Health and new research.

Some experts said it’s time to reframe thinking that the vaccine likely won’t prevent you from ever getting sick, but it will probably keep you out of the hospital and almost certainly prevent you from dying.

“It’s scary, very scary. You think you’re safe, but you’re not,” said Deborah Hernandez, of Baltimore County.

Hernandez got her second dose of the Moderna vaccine in the beginning of February. Seven months later, she got COVID-19.

“I was pretty surprised to say the least,” Hernandez said.

Hernandez was at the Baltimore Convention Center Field Hospital on Tuesday for a two-hour infusion with monoclonal antibodies. She’s worried about long-COVID and passing the virus on to her grandchildren, especially since she had been so vigilant already.

“Just because I have been cautious throughout — not going to restaurants and avoiding big crowds — it just kind of took me by surprise,” Hernandez said.

Health experts said this is the reality of the outbreak this September. While it remains rare for somebody who’s fully vaccinated to die from COVID-19, it is no longer rare for the fully vaccinated to get sick — and sick enough to be hospitalized.

Anne Arundel County Health Officer Dr. Nilesh Kalyanaraman said it’s likely a combination of waning vaccine efficacy and the rise of the delta variant.

“Because delta spreads more easily and causes more severe disease, we do see some hospitalizations,” Kalyanaraman said.

Over the past three months in Anne Arundel County, about 30% of the people hospitalized with COVID-19 are fully vaccinated.

There’s a similar timeframe and trend in neighboring Howard County, where health officials said roughly 30% to 40% of people hospitalized with COVID-19 are fully vaccinated.

(Read more at WBAL to get the illogical statements of people telling you to get vaccinated)

Also, I tip my hat to the small-town outlets who report on the facts

Here, just as the former CDC director observed that 40% of COVID patients were fully-vaccinated, a local news outlet bucked the trend and reported that 40% of Marylanders hospitalized with COVID were fully-vaccinated. Thank God for truthful people who remain in journalism.

  1. NIH Admits to Funding Gain-of-Function Research in Wuhan, Says EcoHealth Violated Reporting Requirements

National Review reports that Dr. Fauci lied again and Senator Paul was correct: the NIH has confirmed that gain of function research was paid for with taxpayer dollars at the Wuhan lab.

Anthony-FauciA top NIH official admitted in a Wednesday letter that U.S. taxpayers funded gain-of-function research on bat coronaviruses in Wuhan and revealed that EcoHealth Alliance, the U.S. non-profit that funneled NIH money to the Wuhan Institute of Virology, was not transparent about the work it was doing.

In the letter to Representative James Comer (R., Ky.), Lawrence A. Tabak of the NIH cites a “limited experiment” that was conducted to test if “spike proteins from naturally occurring bat coronaviruses circulating in China were capable of binding to the human ACE2 receptor in a mouse model.” The laboratory mice infected with the modified bat virus “became sicker” than those infected with the unmodified bat virus.

The revelation vindicates Republican senator Rand Paul, who got into heated exchanges with National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease director Anthony Fauci during his May and July testimonials before Congress over the gain-of-function question. At the second hearing, Paul accused Fauci of misleading Congress by denying that the U.S. had funded gain-of-function projects at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

Gain-of-function research involves extracting viruses from animals and artificially engineering them in a laboratory to make them more transmissible or deadly to humans.

In keeping with Fauci’s refusal to use “gain-of-function,” Tabak avoids the term, though the work he described matches its commonplace definition precisely.

A previously unpublished EcoHealth grant proposal filed with NIAID, obtained by The Intercept, had already exposed that $599,000 of the total grant to the Wuhan Institute of Virology was for research designed to make viruses more dangerous and/or infectious.

(Read about how Fauci’s statements can be proven false at National Review)

If I remember a Senate hearing or two, it seems that Mr. Fauci may find himself brought up on a charge of contempt of Congress

Because it is obvious that Mr. Fauci has lied to Congress and accused Senator Paul of lying (when Senator Paul was telling the truth), I hope we can look forward to setting the record straight soon.

  1. Experts: mRNA COVID-19 vaccines likely tied to heart inflammation

The Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy at the University of Minnesota reports that COVID-19 vaccines likely are tied to heart inflammation.

young_black_man_getting_vaccineToday during a meeting of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP), a panel of expert advisors to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), discussed rare instances of heart inflammation among mRNA COVID-19 vaccine recipients. The committee agreed the vaccines are likely linked to cases of myocarditis and pericarditis but said the benefits of vaccination outweigh the risks.

The first reports of myocarditis and pericarditis occurred in Israel in January, the experts said, and have followed in all countries using mRNAs. The myocarditis (inflammation of heart muscle) and pericarditis (inflammation of the tissues surrounding the heart) associated with vaccines are usually mild and respond well to a course of treatment with non-steroidal anti-inflammatories.

“Clinical presentation of myocarditis cases following vaccination has been distinct, occurring most often within 1 week after dose two, with chest pain as the most common presentation, ” said Grace Lee, MD, chair of ACIP’s safety subcommittee.

“mRNA vaccines may be a new trigger for myocarditis, yet it does have some different characteristics,” said Matthew Oster, MD, MPH, from the CDC’s COVID-19 Vaccine Task Force.

The most common symptoms reported by patients were chest pain, shortness of breath, and difficulty sleeping.

Cases mostly in males under 30

Tom Shimabukuro, MD, MPH, MBA, the deputy director of the Immunization Safety Office at the CDC, said the agency has received reports of 1,226 cases of myocarditis, with 827 (67.5%) reported after dose two of either the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine.

Of those cases identified after second doses, 563 followed the Pfizer vaccine series. In total, that’s approximately 12.6 heart inflammation cases per million doses administered in the United States.

Among the 1,226 patients, 484 are younger than 29, and roughly two-thirds are men.

A major talking point through the ACIP meeting was that only Pfizer is approved for emergency use in the United States for teens ages 12 to 18. For this age-group, adenovirus-based vaccines, such as Johnson & Johnson, are not currently available.

Doran Fink, MD, PhD, deputy director-clinical, division of vaccines and related products applications at the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), said the agency would add warnings about the rare side effects on Moderna and Pfizer fact sheets. The CDC also said patients who develop heart inflammation after a first dose of mRNA should wait until their inflammation heals before getting a second dose, and should talk to their care providers.

Of all the reasons set forward for not taking the jab, this is the most compelling

Out of all of the reasons presented in this blog post that argue against taking the jab, this is the one that makes the greatest call for not getting the jab.

  1. Finland joins Sweden and Denmark in limiting Moderna COVID-19 vaccine

Reuters now reports that Sweden, Denmark, and Finland no longer will allow the use of the Moderna vaccine on males under 30.

Finland on Thursday paused the use of Moderna’s (MRNA.O) COVID-19 vaccine for younger males due to reports of a rare cardiovascular side effect, joining Sweden and Denmark in limiting its use.

Mika Salminen, director of the Finnish health institute, said Finland would instead give Pfizer’s vaccine to men born in 1991 and later. Finland offers shots to people aged 12 and over.

“A Nordic study involving Finland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark found that men under the age of 30 who received Moderna Spikevax had a slightly higher risk than others of developing myocarditis,” he said.

Swedish and Danish health officials had announced on Wednesday they would pause the use of the Moderna vaccine for all young adults and children, citing the same unpublished study.

Norwegian health officials reiterated on Wednesday that they recommended men under the age of 30 opt for Pfizer’s vaccine.

The Finnish institute said the Nordic study would be published within a couple of weeks and preliminary data had been sent to the European Medicines Agency (EMA) for further assessment.

The EMA’s safety committee concluded in July that such inflammatory heart conditions could occur in very rare cases following vaccination with Spikevax or the Pfizer/BioNTech Comirnaty jab, more often in younger men after the second dose.

Regulators in the United States, EU and the World Health Organization have however stressed that the benefits of shots based on the mRNA technology used by Moderna and Pfizer-BioNTech in preventing COVID-19 continue to outweigh the risks.

A Moderna spokesperson said late on Wednesday it was aware of the decisions by the Swedish and Danish regulators.

“These are typically mild cases and individuals tend to recover within a short time following standard treatment and rest. The risk of myocarditis is substantially increased for those who contract COVID-19, and vaccination is the best way to protect against this.”

Italy’s Health Minister Roberto Speranza told reporters Italy was not planning to suspend the Moderna vaccine and said European countries should work together more closely to coordinate better.

(Read more at Reuters)

If you are under 30 or have a heart condition, it seems a good thing to avoid the jab

Because the function of the mRNA vaccination is to cause reactions that will make the body fight off the virus, it seems likely that the “cure” might be more deadly than the sickness.

Nonetheless, of course medical decisions should be made on an informed basis (which would involve the consulting of a trusted medical professional — not necessarily a blog).

So much for gloom. Here are the comics that don’t run for office.

From the border, Biden mocks the Supreme Court, illegals pile up, a Democrat Mayor calls for help, and Haitians are released

Supreme Court mandates return to Remain in Mexico policy. Biden regime ignores the court

The Washington Examiner reports on the Supreme Court’s decision to return to the Remain in Mexico policy; however, Biden has ignored the court again (after his mocking them by ignoring their ruling on his rent moratorium).

Former President Donald Trump’s “remain in Mexico” immigration policy will be reinstated after the Supreme Court refused a Biden administration request Tuesday night to block a lower court ruling requiring the restrictions be put back in place.

The Justice Department sought to have the court stay a recent decision by a federal judge in Texas that ordered the Biden administration to “enforce and implement” the policy, known as the Migrant Protection Protocols, until it could be lawfully suspended.

U.S. District Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk, a Trump appointee, ruled on Aug. 13 the administration violated federal procedural law when it first suspended the border policy in January and when it fully rescinded the policy on June 1. The rescission, Kacsmaryk determined, was arbitrary and capricious in violation of the Administrative Procedures Act, which governs the administration of federal regulations.

The Justice Department asked the high court to block Kacsmaryk’s order, saying it would “severely disrupt” the administration’s operations at the border and that it threatened “to create a diplomatic and humanitarian crisis.”

The Supreme Court determined the government would not likely succeed on appeal on the merits of its claim that the administration’s rescission of the policy complied with the law.

“The applicants have failed to show a likelihood of success on the claim that the memorandum rescinding the Migrant Protection Protocols was not arbitrary and capricious,” the court said in its order.

Justices Stephen Breyer, Sonia Sotomayor, and Elena Kagan granted the Justice Department’s stay application.

The Homeland Security Department said it plans to continue with its appeal of Kacsmaryk’s reinstatement order — the Supreme Court ruled narrowly on whether to pause the order as the government seeks a victory on the merits of its rescission of MPP — but will “comply with the order in good faith.”

“Alongside interagency partners, DHS has begun to engage with the Government of Mexico in diplomatic discussions surrounding the Migrant Protection Protocols (MPP),” the agency said in a statement.

The original complaint was filed on April 13 by Texas and Missouri, which claimed financial injury due to the rescission of the policy. The policy was first implemented in January 2019 and directed immigration authorities to return certain migrants to Mexico as they awaited their removal proceedings.

Missouri claimed the end of the policy forced it to direct more state resources to initiatives, including its Human Trafficking Task Force, stressed by the influx of migrants from the southern border.

Kacsmaryk said the Biden administration “failed to consider the main benefits of [the Migrant Protection Protocols]” and to adequately consider how states would be affected by the release of thousands of migrants into their jurisdictions.

(Read of the record number of crossings and response by Mayorkas at the Washington Examiner)

I don’t know whether Joe has decided to further ignore the border in order to distract us from his Afghanistan disaster or whether this is just full-scale invasion

In the end, nothing about the Biden border policy helps America for these reasons:

  • It opens us up to more fentanyl when we are already experiencing an opioid epidemic.
  • It allows more diseases (many of which we once had eliminated within our borders) back into our states (not to mention new variants of the ever-hyped COVID-19).
  • It provides a pipeline for illegal guns to run both north and south of the border
  • It strengthens the hand of human traffickers (especially those who sex traffic children and women).
  • It opens our population to terrorists

Texas Rep. Pfluger visits Del Rio migrant camp as numbers spike, warns ‘worst is yet to come’

Fox News points out the conditions observed by Representative Pfluger at Del Rio as the Haitian invasion began.

Rep. August Pfluger, R-Texas, on Saturday spoke to Fox News as he visited the site of the migrant surge in Del Rio, Texas, saying that the number of predominantly Haitian migrants camping there in squalid conditions is approaching 15,000 — and warning the situation could get much worse.

“Speaking to Border Patrol agents, the worst is yet to come, they’re worried about what is behind here, they’re worried about co-ordination with Mexico,” he told Fox News from Del Rio.

Officials have described an “out of control” situation as they scramble to cope with a flood of migrants that has spiked from 4,000 on Wednesday to now what Pfluger said was 14,878 as of Saturday afternoon. Fox News images have shown migrants streaming across the border by their hundreds for days.

“It’s worse than you could imagine,” Pfluger said, whose office also provided images of the chaos to Fox News.

The migrants have set up a de facto camp under the bridge to shelter from the 100 degree heat as their numbers swell and they wait to be processed by Border Patrol. Officials have rushed toilets, water, medical supplies and other humanitarian aid to try and help.

The more I think of this situation, all of this seems to be going as planned by the White House

The more I think about this invasion, this seems to fit into the plans of the socialists who run things in the White House. They want to “fundamentally change America” by importing as many socialists as possible. It does not matter that they will bankrupt the nation. They will get these little socialists on handout programs as soon as possible and, thereby, have a new class of devoted Democrat voters.

Democrat Del Rio Mayor calls for help from Biden and Harris

The Epoch Times reports the words of Democrat Mayor Mayor Bruno Lozano as he called on members of his own party for help.

Democratic Del Rio Mayor Bruno Lozano has called out President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris for failing to make an appearance at his town as it battles with an overwhelming illegal immigrant crisis that has left Border Patrol agents struggling to process thousands of people.

More than 15,000 illegal immigrants, including Haitian, Cuban, and Venezuelan nationals, have illegally entered the United States in recent days and taken shelter underneath the border bridge connecting Del Rio, a Texas town of about 35,000 people, to Ciudad Acuña, Mexico.

While numerous official figures and congressmen, including Rep. August Pfluger (R-Texas) and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), have visited the town, shared images, and urged the Biden administration to take action, both Biden and Harris have been noticeably absent.

On Sept.18, as Pfluger warned that the situation has “reached boiling point,” Harris made an appearance at Howard University where she led a coin toss at the university’s football event.

(Read more at the Epoch Times about the Democrat non-response)

This should be the message to working-class Democrats in America: “You have been abandoned for the illegal alien socialists.”

As has become evident by the acts of the Democrats at the border, working class Democrats have now been abandoned by the party in favor of illegal alien socialists.  Although an imperceptibly small minority of illegal aliens are being sent back, the majority that the Biden CBP encounter are being spread across America.

The Biden regime continues with unequal application of the law

As illustrated by the tweet below, Biden has chosen to continue with an unequal application of the law even when dealing with illegal aliens.

Texas law enforcement takes action over migrant crisis in Del Rio

The Blaze reports that Texas Rangers have started picking up the slack where the federal agents under Joe Biden have slacked off.

Texas law enforcement took action late Saturday over the growing migrant crisis unfolding in Del Rio, Texas, a small town situated on the southern United States border with Mexico.

What are the details?

Gov. Greg Abbott said Saturday the Texas Department of Public Safety and Texas National Guard were working together to secure the area of the border where thousands of Haitian migrants have poured into the U.S. in recent days.

“The Texas Department of Public Safety is in full force along the border around the Del Rio area. They have built a barricade with their squad cars and State Troopers,” Abbott said. “The National Guard is working with them to secure the border.”

The Texas DPS shared images on social media showing a massive fleet of vehicles parked on the banks of the Rio Grande river.

(Read how Texas forces plan to act at The Blaze)

At least Abbott is trying to do what Biden will not do.

Because Biden has abandoned the border, Governor Abbott has been forced to use Texas resources to stem the flow of illegal aliens into Texas.

In contradiction to Biden claims, the majority of Haitians are released into America

The Associated Press report that (of the 16,000 Haitians amassed at Del Rio) many are being released into America.

Many Haitian migrants camped in a small Texas border town are being released in the United States, two U.S. officials said, undercutting the Biden administration’s public statements that the thousands in the camp faced immediate expulsion.

Haitians have been freed on a “very, very large scale” in recent days, according to one U.S. official who put the figure in the thousands. The official, who has direct knowledge of operations, was not authorized to discuss the matter Tuesday and spoke on condition of anonymity.

Many have been released with notices to appear at an immigration office within 60 days, an outcome that requires less processing time from Border Patrol agents than ordering an appearance in immigration court and points to the speed at which authorities are moving, the official said.

The Homeland Security Department has been busing Haitians from Del Rio to El Paso, Laredo and the Rio Grande Valley along the Texas border, and this week added flights to Tucson, Arizona, the official said. They are processed by the Border Patrol at those locations.

A second U.S. official, also with direct knowledge and speaking on the condition of anonymity, said large numbers of Haitians were being processed under immigration laws and not being placed on expulsion flights to Haiti that started Sunday. The official couldn’t be more specific about how many.

U.S. authorities scrambled in recent days for buses to Tucson but resorted to flights when they couldn’t find enough transportation contractors, both officials said. Coast Guard planes took Haitians from Del Rio to El Paso.

The releases in the U.S. were occurring despite the signaling of a massive effort to expel Haitians on flights to Haiti under pandemic-related authority that denies migrants an opportunity to seek asylum. A third U.S. official not authorized to discuss operations said there were seven daily flights to Haiti planned starting Wednesday.

Accounts of wide-scale releases — some observed at the Del Rio bus station by Associated Press journalists — are at odds with statements a day earlier by Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, who traveled to Del Rio to promise swift action.

“If you come to the United States illegally, you will be returned, your journey will not succeed, and you will be endangering your life and your family’s life,” he said at a Monday news conference.

The releases come amid a quick effort to empty the camp under a bridge that, according to some estimates, held more than 14,000 people over the weekend in a town of 35,000 people. Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, during a visit Tuesday to Del Rio, said the county’s top official told him the most recent tally at the camp was about 8,600 migrants.

The criteria for deciding who is flown to Haiti and who is released in the U.S. was unclear, but two U.S. officials said single adults were the priority for expulsion flights.

The Homeland Security Department did not immediately respond to a request for comment late Tuesday night.

For those Haitians who got into America, some revolted

As reported by Kingsville CBS affiliate KIII, Haitians in CBP custody attempted escape and take-over of a CPB bus.

New images have come to light of Monday’s incident just south of Kingsville, Texas, involving some Haitian migrants and the Department of Homeland Security.

The group of migrants were being transported by bus to Brownsville when there was a revolt. The Kleberg County Sheriff’s Office said the migrants fought with agents, forced the bus to stop, and then escaped. Footage of the incident was brought to Governor Greg Abbott’s attention during a news conference Tuesday.

“We saw something yesterday that we knew was going to happen,” said Brandon Judd, President of the National Border Patrol Council.

Judd was in Del Rio at the news conference with Governor Abbott spotlighting the Haitian migrant crisis there.

“If you are targeting Texas to come to, we are going to show up in force and shut down the border,” Abbott said.

“When those people who were in buses south of Kingsville, Texas, when they found out they were going to be sent back to Haiti, they took the bus over and they fled,” Judd said.

Kleberg County Sheriff Richard Kirkpatrick was one of a number of lawmen who showed up to the scene to help out the ICE agents.

“These illegal migrants assaulted the federal agents on the bus and somehow they managed to escape custody for a brief moment in time, and agents then had to chase them down again and get into another scuffle on the side of the road with these individuals to try and detain them,” Kirkpatrick said.

The desperation seen in the Haitian migrants trying to cross the border is partly due to a recent earthquake that destroyed or damaged nearly 130,000 homes. Haiti’s president was also assassinated earlier this year. The U.S. State Department issued a travel advisory telling Americans not to visit Haiti because of the civil unrest, crime and COVID-19.

Eddie Canales, a South Texas immigrant rights activist, said those Haitians acted in desperation because they are fearful of returning to their country. He believes the Haitian migrants at our state’s border should be welcomed into the country and not deported back to Haiti.

“There needs to be immediate humanitarian parole given to the Haitians in this country or you know, temporary protected status, or as refugees,” Canales said. “Figure out what’s going on. Did any actions take place in Haiti to keep people from leaving in terms of relief after the earthquake? I doubt it very much.”

The statement “There needs to be immediate humanitarian parole given” provides all the proof we need that this situation is insane. The inmates have taken over the asylum.

Over-counting COVID deaths and using the mandate to distract from Afghanistan: what else will Biden bungle?

Sharyl Atkisson proves COVID deaths have been extremely over-counted

Real Clear Politics reviews a recent Full Measure episode where Sharyl Attkisson explores how COVID deaths may have been over-counted by 100% or more.

SharylAttkisson“Full Measure” host Sharyl Attkisson investigates how Covid-19 cases and deaths are being counted and finds some suspicious overcounting:

As hindsight comes into clearer focus, we’re learning a lot about mistaken advice and policies amid the Covid-19 pandemic. One still murky and disputed area involves the death toll, now upwards of 640,000 in the U.S., according to CDC. Some insist the true count is much higher; others claim it’s lower. Today, we begin with the startling results of our investigation that found in some documented cases, news that Covid was the cause of death was greatly exaggerated.

Grand County, Colorado, rural country a hundred miles outside of Denver.

Thanksgiving 2020, Lucais Reilly shoots his wife Kristin in the head, then turns the gun on himself, committing suicide. They have alcohol and drugs in their system and a history of domestic troubles.

Grand County coroner Brenda Bock explains how the small town tragedy is exposing serious questions about the way Covid deaths are counted.

Brenda Bock: I had a homicide-suicide the end of November, and the very next day it showed up on the state website as Covid deaths. And they were gunshot wounds. And I questioned that immediately because I had not even signed off the death certificates yet, and the state was already reporting them as Covid deaths.

Bock says somebody, somewhere had apparently run the couple’s names through a database showing they’d tested positive for Covid within 28 days of their death. Then recorded them as Covid deaths even though they died of gunshots.

Sharyl: If we look at the death certificates for the murder-suicide case, what will it say about Covid?

Bock: Nothing, absolutely nothing. I paid a forensic pathologist to do the autopsies on those two cases. And nowhere is COVID mentioned on those death certificates. Nowhere.

Bock: This is a copy of the death certificate, and nowhere does it say COVID. So we have a homicide, suicide, nothing to do with COVID.

(continued)

But when we checked in July, the New York Times tally over-reported Grand County’s 2020 Covid death toll by least 500%. It was missing one resident who reportedly died of Covid outside of the county. But the Times counted the unrelated heart attack; the two people who were alive – which were removed from the state total; and the murder-suicide of Lucais and Kristin Reilly.

Sharyl: What are the implications nationwide when we’re looking at numbers then?

Bock: I believe they’re very inflated. And don’t get me wrong. I believe Covid is real. And I believe people do get very sick from it. And I do believe a small number do die from that. I do not believe a homicide-suicide belongs in that number. I don’t, because my job is to tell the truth about why a person died, the cause and the manner. And I don’t believe that what’s going on is the truth.

(Read more at Real Clear Politics)

When I heard a bit of Sharyl Atkisson’s presentation on Full Measure, it clicked.

The idea that non-COVID deaths had been reported as COVID deaths rang true. This may be based on the fact that the main stream media just will not stop pounding the COVID topic. It may come from the lies that the media has been caught pushing. Or it may originate with the occasional story on how Democrats hide the truth surrounding an outbreak thought to be COVID.

Nonetheless, the Democrats in office and in the press have spent all of their trust.

Biden Timed Vaccine Mandate Announcement to Distract from Afghanistan Debacle

Breitbart points toward indications that the vaccine mandate might be Biden’s attempt to distract from the multiple Afghanistan bungles. However, with the poor thinking that went into both the mandate and Afghanistan, who’s to say he isn’t magnifying both bungles?

Breitbart News editor-in-chief Alex Marlow said President Joe Biden announced his vaccine mandate in order to distract from his disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal, adding that U.S. leaders can “literally get away with murder at this point.”

“I think this is exactly why Biden unrolled the vaccine mandate, is specifically because he didn’t want to talk about Afghanistan. He didn’t even give a live address on the 20th anniversary of 9/11 — he’s hiding,” Marlow said in a recent episode of I’m Right with Jesse Kelly.

Has Biden thought out what happens when nursing home workers resign rather than get the jab?

Nursing home workers don’t make a lot of money; however, they hold a key position. If they quit en masse as a response to Joe’s mandate, who will replace them? Will this result in massive deaths in government-run nursing homes due to worker shortages?

What will happen if garbage truck drivers refuse the jab? Does anyone remember the last garbage hauler’s strike in New York? Does anyone want that nationwide?

What happens when more rural clinics have nurses and doctors quit rather than get this relatively untested “vaccination?” How will we provide healthcare when rural systems are already being shut down to compensate for refusals in the big cities?

Is there a possibility that Joe’s cover-up issue might grow to be worse than Afghanistan? What other industries could say “No, I will just quit” rather than take Joe’s jab?

A running list of Joe’s/Kamala’s failures

The following comes directly off of the top of my head; therefore, I welcome corrections (with linked documentation) in the comments. If you make comments, I will add your input to the list (with citations to you). Additionally, I will keep your comments.
