After a judge orders the DOJ to respond to the Trump raid, A.G. Garland claims to seek to open the warrant and Rep. Gabbard calls this an abuse of power
The Christian Broadcasting Network reports how a judge has ordered the Department of “Justice” to respond on the Trump raid while Tulsi Gabbard accuses of Biden of a blatant abuse of power.
U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland admitted in a hastily called press conference on Thursday afternoon that he had personally signed off on the search warrant issued against former President Trump, authorizing the unprecedented FBI raid.
Garland also revealed that the Department of Justice is seeking to unseal the mysterious warrant, citing “substantial public interest in this matter.”
The move comes right after the same federal judge who signed the warrant ordered the DOJ to respond to a watchdog group’s motion to unseal the warrant.
Magistrate Judge Bruce Reinhart told the DOJ to respond by next Monday, but all the details still might not be made public. “The response may be filed ex parte and under seal as necessary to avoid disclosing matters already under seal. In that event, the Government shall file a redacted Response in the public record,” Reinhart wrote.
On Aug. 9, Judicial Watch filed its motion asking the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida to unseal as soon as possible the search warrant materials used by the FBI to raid Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home in Palm Beach, Florida earlier this week.
“The Biden administration’s raid on President Trump’s home is an outrageous, reckless, and unprecedented abuse of power. And the American people have an urgent right to know how it happened and who is responsible,” Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said in a statement.
The Albany Times Union and The New York Times have joined Judicial Watch in filing for the unsealing of the warrant by filing an amicus letter and motion respectively.
Due to multiple organizations filing to unseal the warrant, Judge Reinhart ordered, “To avoid the need for individualized orders on any future motion(s) to unseal, it is ORDERED that the Government shall file an omnibus response to all motions to unseal on or before 5:00 p.m. Eastern time on August 15, 2022.”
According to numerous media outlets, the warrant reportedly relates to an alleged dispute over the Presidential Records Act.
As CBN News reported, the probe is reportedly part of a federal investigation into whether Trump took classified records from the White House after he left office. Trump had previously cooperated with federal officials, allowing them access to his Mar-a-Lago home to reclaim documents.

Meanwhile, former congresswoman and Democratic presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard said the FBI’s raid on Trump’s home shows an “escalating, very dangerous trend of abuse of power” by the Biden administration.
“This is something that every American should be extremely concerned about because this raid is just the latest serious escalation of this disturbing trend that we’ve seen of blatant abuse of power by those in power, to not only protect their friends but to target their political opponents or frankly anyone who dares to dissent or challenge or disagree or even question what this administration is doing,” Gabbard told Fox News.

While this statement from Gabbard may be meant merely to distinguish her from the Democrats that push through the rest of the Build Back Broker plan by Biden, I agree with her rhetoric
But, while I agree with her rhetoric, more than rhetoric is needed. Action first. Rhetoric can come when things are not as critical and people might need to be informed on a topic. However, the only people without an opinion now are those who remain willfully blind.

In what alternate universe does the Democrat-bolstered IRS need to enforce its judgements with deadly force?
Once a voluntary tax to a life-and-death matter, the Biden Inflation Reduction bill makes the IRS too powerful
As reported by Breitbart and archived at Archive Today, a job advertisement for the Internal Revenue Service includes a “Major Duty” where the applicant should expect to “Carry a firearm and be willing to use deadly force, if necessary.”
A job listing for the position of IRS Criminal Investigation Special Agent stresses that applicants must “carry a firearm and be willing to use deadly force” in order to carry out their duties.
The job listing says:
As a Special Agent you will combine your accounting skills with law enforcement skills to investigate financial crimes. Special Agents are duly sworn law enforcement officers who are trained to “follow the money.” No matter what the source, all income earned, both legal and illegal, has the potential of becoming involved in crimes which fall within the investigative jurisdiction of the IRS Criminal Investigation. Because of the expertise required to conduct these complex financial investigations, IRS Special Agents are considered the premier financial investigators for the Federal government.
It goes on to describe Special Agent “major duties,” which include “[carrying] a firearm and [being] willing to use deadly force, if necessary.” Applicants for the Special Agent position must also “be willing and able to participate in arrests, execution of search warrants, and other dangerous assignments.”

By the way, this requires a hat tip to Bunkerville.
Despite Democrats’ dive into the realm of the National Socialists, no justification exists for arming the pencil pushers that cannot answer the phones or issue tax returns
If they cannot handle manning a phone bank to respond to questions about tax forms and if they cannot issue tax returns on time, then they really don’t deserve guns or deadly force. This weaponizing should not last beyond the first few minutes of Republican domination of the House and Senate.

Vichy Republicans defined
These top GOP senators still haven’t condemned Democrats’ banana republic FBI raid on Donald Trump
The Federalist tells us in a 9 August 2022 article how certain Republican politicians have not condemned the raid on Trump’s home.
More than 24 hours after the FBI’s “unannounced raid” on former President Donald Trump’s home, some in Senate GOP leadership including Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell have refused to condemn the rogue agency’s actions against their party leader.
While House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy rushed to condemn the Department of Justice’s “intolerable state of weaponized politicization” the night of the raid and even announced plans to “conduct immediate oversight of this department,” neither McConnell, Senate Republican Policy Committee Chair Roy Blunt, nor Senate Republican Whip John Thune had publicly mentioned a word to their constituents, the press, or their colleagues by Tuesday afternoon about taking action against the politicized bureaucratic agencies that have increasingly targeted Americans.
Instead of addressing the two-tiered justice system in the U.S., something nearly 80 percent of Americans say is a legitimate problem facing the nation, as a united party that stands behind its former presidential leader, McConnell and his Senate peers have remained deliberately mum on the FBI’s ambush at Mar-a-Lago.
Their offices did not immediately respond to The Federalist’s questions about whether they plan to condemn the raid.

Dan Crenshaw, my representative, has remained silent on this overreach
Dan would not stand up for us when the Democrats cheated. I cannot find any comment from him on 2000 Mules or any statement in support of True the Vote; therefore, I can only assume he depends on Democrat votes to be elected.

Desantis was slower on the response than McCarthy. that’s sad.

It may just be my delusion, but it seems to me that governors have a little more on their plates than do House minority leaders.
With that in mind, Abbott still hasn’t commented on the whole Trump issue (as far as I know). Still, I will vote for Abbott over
BetoRobert Francis O’Rourke.By the way, if you remember the Democrat presidential primaries, Robert Francis O’Rourke was the one who said “Hell, yes, we’re going to take your AR-15, your AK-47.” He is also the one who recently caused an audience member tp burst out laughing when this politician described the design of the AR-15 (something he supposes to be a military-grade weapon).
Additionally, O’Rourke (aka the Mayonnaise Latino or a lot of other things we could call him) likes to call himself “Beto” to trick Hispanics into voting for him. Other than picking a name, there’s nothing Hispanic about him.

Sorry about the rant on Beto.

I am just glad that he did not get into the Supreme Court. Although he was touted as a moderate during the Obama years, he has shown no regard for personal rights when it came to gun owners or President Trump.
