Critical Race Theory gets criticized by credible critics

Columbia University graduate who fled North Korea draws connections between CRT and Marxist life

The Epoch Times reports on a woman who fled communism only to be inflicted with the same ideology at college in the United States.

A North Korean defector who graduated from New York’s Columbia University drew an alarming similarity between what is being taught on the American campus and the propaganda of the Kim regime.

In 2007, 13-year-old Yeonmi Park and her mother fled across the border to China, where they were sold into slavery by sex traffickers. Two years later, with the help of Christian missionaries, they escaped to Mongolia across the Gobi desert before settling in South Korea.

Park was transferred to Columbia from a South Korean university in 2016. She said she was struck by the Ivy League school’s anti-West and anti-American sentiment, which brought back memories of her childhood under the communist, totalitarian regime.

“At Columbia University, literally every professor was saying the problems that we have in today’s world is because of white men [and] how they colonized Africa [and] Asia, that’s how they mess up everything and they are the ones who needs [sic] to be blamed,” Yeonmi told Fox News.

“And I couldn’t believe it,” she continued. “Am I sitting in North Korea’s classroom or in America’s classroom? I couldn’t believe why people were hating their own people that much.”

Park told host Sean Hannity that she viewed the United States as a nation of free thought and free speech, only to find out she had to censor herself on an American campus.

We should not be surprised that Democrats have provided a template for racial discrimination in CRT

Democrats were the party of slavery, Jim Crow, and segregation. Go look at the laws crafted by Joe Biden in the mid-70’s. These laws were crafted to protect White communities.

Now that Democrats have determined to give the nation a socialist turn, their focus on pitting groups against each other works to distract us from their other actions (taxing, controlling, etc._).

Virginia mother who endured Maoist China blasts school board’s critical race theory initiative

In a 10 June 2021 Washington Examiner article, we see how a woman who survived Mao’s “cultural revolution” spoke out against a school board’s critical race theory initiative.

A mother in Virginia who survived Mao Zedong’s Cultural Revolution in China before immigrating to the United States slammed a local school board during a public meeting on Tuesday over its backing of critical race theory.

The theory, which claims “racism is a normal and ordinary part of our society, not an aberration,” according to a seminar developed by Fordham Law School’s Center on Race, Law, and Justice, has gained traction in public school curricula since the summer of unrest following the death of George Floyd in May last year.

“I’ve been very alarmed by what’s going on in our schools,” Xi Van Fleet told the Loudoun County School Board. “You are now teaching, training our children to be social justice warriors and to loathe our country and our history.”

The mother compared the theory to a form of “neo-racism,” adding, “This is indeed [the] American version of the Chinese Cultural Revolution,” a purge led by Mao that left 500,000 to 20 million people dead from 1966 to 1976. The vast discrepancy in fatalities is due to the lack of historical record surrounding the revolution.

Mao murdered millions with his cultural revolution, what will Biden do?

Do we need to look over our shoulders for the FBI just because of our skin color? What if I happen to be a light-skinned Hispanic? Do I need to carry my genealogical charts with me to prove my ancestry?

And should that matter in today’s America?

Black mother compares critical race theory in schools to KKK tactics

The Washington Examiner reports through a 13 May 2021 article on a Black mother who spoke out against CRT.

A Black mother took aim at critical race theory during a local school board meeting, comparing the education to tactics used by Nazi Germany and the Ku Klux Klan.

“Critical race theory is not an honest dialogue, it is a tactic that was used by Hitler and the Ku Klux Klan on slavery very many years ago to dumb down my ancestors so we could not think for ourselves,” Shawntel Cooper said at the Loudoun County School Board meeting Tuesday. “Critical race theory is racist, it is abusive, it discriminates against one’s color. … You can not tell me what is or is not racist.”

The fiery rebuke came as parents at the district, one of the richest in the nation, have recently begun fighting back against plans to adopt a “culturally responsive” curriculum framework that called on the district to dismantle “white supremacy.”

Cooper was not the only parent to speak out at the meeting, with other parents voicing concerns about the district’s Diverse Book Collection, which is supposed to be an initiative to expose students to authors of different races, gender identities, and sexual orientations.

One group of parents read aloud passages from Monday’s Not Coming, a sexually explicit book that at one point described a girl being assaulted. The parents argued that if reading the passage of the book made the school board uncomfortable, it wasn’t appropriate for students.

“If this is inappropriate for me to read to you, this is inappropriate for our children,” one parent said. “Get these dirty books out of our schools.”

Other books parents complained about included My Princess Boy, which tells the story of a young boy who likes wearing dresses and playing with girls’ toys that was included in the kindergarten curriculum. A junior in high school, meanwhile, could choose to read Whatever: Or How Junior Year Became Totally F$@cked, the story of a teenage boy who faces internal crisis after drunkenly kissing another male.

“Schools should not be imparting their belief structure on our children. That should be left to the parents to share their values, morals, and ethics in a family setting,” one parent said. “That is the most important. Those should be for the parents to impart to their children, not the school.”

Will Merrick Garland take heed to these admontions?

Will this matter a whit to Merrick Garland or will he start his 6 January 2021 witch hunt nonetheless?

  1. Well, at least we know there are one or two folks paying attention. Not enough people, of course, but some. Meanwhile, Communist Race Theory continues to be a focus of in-service training at Foggy Bottom, the Pentagon, all the armed services, FBI, CIA, DHS, IRS, Treasury, HHS, numerous corporate board rooms of companies who have government contracts, and nearly every school district coast to coast. I’m guessing that the homoerotic crowd is just so depressed right now.
